Waterfront Hall — Restaurant in Wheeling

We hosted our 20-year high school reunion this past weekend in the 3rd-floor event space, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The building is stunning, the event space fit our needs beautifully, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. With around 130 attendees, the atmosphere was incredible, and everyone left with big smiles. I’ve received so much positive feedback about the event, and the venue played a huge role in making it such a success. I highly recommend this space for anyone looking for a unique and memorable venue in downtown Wheeling, WV.

I noticed a negative review about the food catering, but my observed experience was entirely different. The catering team was attentive and proactive in making sure our guests were happy. Early on, some pizzas sat for a bit while everyone mingled and enjoyed drinks, but the team quickly refreshed the selection with hot, fresh pies to provide the best experience. At the end of the night, they even wrapped up leftovers so guests could take some home. Unfortunately, I missed out on snagging one myself! It’s worth noting that pizza is always best fresh, but their efforts to accommodate everyone were truly impressive.

I can’t speak highly enough of Waterfront Hall as a wedding venue, there are just no words. My husband (!) and I had our wedding in the 3rd floor venue this past Saturday, and it was absolutely magical. People only read so much of long reviews, so here’s the important part: most wedding venues are beautiful. Waterfront Hall is no exception. What makes it unique and perfect isn’t about the aesthetic, IT’S THE PEOPLE. Here on the other side of the big day, what sticks with me most is that every staff member was so fully devoted to making it perfect, and I am so grateful to them. If you choose to have your wedding here, you will have so much support and hype from these incredible people. I love it here. The open floor plan and giant windows looking out to Wheeling’s Heritage Port and the Ohio River make the dining experience that much more special. When the weather is nice, the garage door on the event side will be open and the fresh breeze lets in connecting the inside with the outside again making your Waterfront Hall experience that much more special!
