Mr. Sesame Chicken — Restaurant in White Bear Lake

We did takeout Place looked kinda run down.

Woman who worked there was rude and said told us she didn’t charge us for shrimp fried rice but in fact DID charge us. ( we didn’t even order shrimp fried rice). So we ended up receiving and paying for a meal we didn’t order. I called her to tell her we had an extra meal we didn’t order but yet paid for. I brought home a takeout menu with the prices and added it up myself so I knew we paid for the meal we didn’t order. She told me I was wrong. Then, she asked us to bring the food back? GROSS! What in the world was she going to do with it?! So one: she lied. Two: she wanted us to bring the food back that we PAID for. And three: she was arrogant about the situation.

Perpahs they should give you a detailed receipt or maybe read back the order?

Food was okay. Nothing special, just an average Chinese place with rude staff. Who knows she could...

I walked here from my office on lunch break, and called my order in before hand. I got there, and tried to pay w/ my card (which was the only form of payment I brought bc I didn’t want to carry my whole wallet on the walk). She proceeds to tell me that they don’t take cards cash only. I said for all orders ? She said only for orders less then $10, but she failed to mention this on the phone, so how would I know. When I’m about to say forget it I don’t have cash she says “fine this time but 0.50 will be charged to your card” ok that’s completely fine. THEN I asked if I could sit down bc it’s my lunch and I wanted to sit and eat. She said no you ordered for carry out. There was not one person sitting at any of the tables or anyone else waiting in line. I won’t be going back HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !! Average if not...

Food was inedible. With exception to cream cheese wantons and the egg rolls which were a frozen variety. There was one lady working, take out only but there were plenty of tables and chairs. The lady said suggested the chow mein several times so I ordered chicken chow mein. The celery was mush and it tasted awful. The white rice was dry and over cooked. My friend ordered house fried rice. Same experience. Shrimp pork chicken in the fried rice was chewy and over cooked the the rice was dry and over cooked. We talked to another customer who said before Covid you could eat in and it was better. He wanted to go Thai place near by but it wasn’t open for the day yet.
