I have been coming here for awhile now, simply out of convince. I never leave a bad review, but I can strongly say that I will never go back to this salon. The women who work there are great, but the male employee who works at the front and sometimes does nails is rude, unfriendly and impudent towards customers. He is not nice when he answers the phone to make appointments, or to customers when they come in. For awhile, I attributed it to his personality, but last time I went in to get a pedicure and full set, he was assigned to do the full set. I knew that he wasn't one to hold conversation, so I put my headphones in and watched Netflix. Not only was he very rough with my hands, I noticed that my nails were not even. I asked him twice to compare the two nails together, that way they at least looked the same, to which he reluctantly half-attempted to fix them. When he was finished, I looked at my nails and they looked nowhere near the same/even. When I politely asked if he could simply file them down to be even, he rolled his eyes, rudely and told me, "instead of watching tv, you need to tell me." This simply was not true, as I told him multiple times that they were not even, and he did not compare the two hands once to make sure they looked halfway decent. Not only that, but I should not have to tell someone how to do their job, as is it not my place, and they should do it correctly in the first place. Regardless, I was still polite, paid full price and told them to have a great day, to which he turned around and ignored me. Very rude customer service, I have now since been to other salons who are kind and do...
Read moreWhen I first moved here,4 years ago, I used to give this place a five star rating and I really encouraged everybody. I knew to go there and my nails were always done perfectly no matter who did it but lately my mind has been changing. the last three times I’ve been there The service is not friendly for me. They have been more rough with my nails and toes. I have bled and the amount of time spent on my manicure and pedicure has decreased. I’ve been going there once a month for 4 years and I’m a total stranger. I would think by now they would at least recognize me and say hello, Not expecting them to know my middle name but just at least a hello, maybe I’m wrong, but I see how some people have interactions with the employees and it’s very different. I’m not sure why I never complain. I always bring cash. I always leave a very good tip 20% or more but for some reason for me, the feel good is gone. So I guess it’s time to move on and see what else is out there. This disappoints me because I really did love this place for the fact my nails were always done perfectly so I didn’t mind the fact that I was never...
Read moreI brought a wedding party of 6 ladies for full sets in August. The bride ended up with David. She told me later that he was very rude and very rough. I have gone to Nails and Spa since they opened and had changed salons because I found David so rude. I decided to go there with the wedding party because it is a bigger salon that could accommodate a larger group. I also had a pedicure. The man that did my pedicure appeared to not speak English at all. I always get the spa pedicure. He never asked me so I did not get the spa pedicure. He literally only painted my toenails. I was back in last week and both front doors were wide open. I heard several customers complain about being cold. There were flies buzzing around everyone and six dirty fly strips hanging from the light fixtures. I asked if there was a problem with their heating and cooling system and they said no. David answers the phone while he is doing your nails so he may be interrupted a dozen times while doing your nails. Last week I heard him berating a customer on the phone. Erica tends to be rude too but David is the worst. I will...
