I come here occasionally and my previous visits weren’t bad, but the customer service I’ve experienced today was unacceptable for any company. I myself work in customer service and I’d never act this way to any customer. When I was ready to check out I saw number 3 and 2 were open but there was only one guy up front he was kind of tall, had some tattoos on his arm and brown hair. He was breaking down boxes or something so he wasn’t at his aisle so I politely asked if he was working on aisle 3 and the way he responded with the attitude in his voice made it seem like I just inconvenienced him for the rest of his life. I’m sorry, you work at ALDI and you need to be nicer to customers and not be bitchy when someone asks you a simple question. I’m not sure if he was just overwhelmed from trying to do multiple things at once, which I understand, but don’t take it out on customers. If I would’ve seen another worker up front I would’ve just said never mind and checked out with them but unfortunately I had to go with him. Then he rings out my stuff and doesn’t say have a good day or anything, he was just radiating irritation like he was a ticking time bomb. Be kinder to people, you never know what people are going through. Customer service: 0 stars today but the store itself is nice with a great selection. I’ll be back, but will avoid that guy...
Read moreI've been shopping here since they opened shop. Their prices are great and they seem to have most of your common staple products available. The reason for the low rating is for two reasons: 1) rotten produce and 2) unhappy and unfriendly workers. Over the years I've been shopping here (typically once a week or once every other week), just about every time I buy their "fresh" fruit or vegetables they end up rotten. I can't tell you how many times I've purchased strawberries from them only to find moldy strawberries or blueberries when you get to the middle ones (of course, you can't tell from the outside). Their bagged vegetables are even harder to tell..it's not until you get home, unpack everything, and open that bag of baby carrots that you realize they're all covered with a thick, slippery slime. Sure, they have a refund or exchange policy, but having to drive 15+ minutes back to their store is such a headache, and their rotten food (now showing up in their canned goods and cheeses) will now have me avoiding them for the foreseeable future. Their workers used to be happy and would greet you warmly, but over the past year I've noticed this has changed and they always seem to have a scowl. No longer worth the cheap price to...
Read moreIt's amazing that they sell food and that can harm somebody if not done correctly and there's no phone number to contact them to let them know they're selling spoiled product. This isn't the first time I've had to throw out products that were still good by date but spoiled. You need to learn how to run a business and list a phone number to report spoiled or unsafe products that can harm somebody. Not to mention this stuff isn't cheap and I don't enjoy throwing out product and not getting my money back. I think I'm done shopping there I don't trust you people anymore you're hiding stuff and playing games and you're going to eventually harm somebody severely by trying to save a dollar or two. You're not selling stamps or DVDs you need to be responsible and list a phone number. people eat this stuff and someday you're going to make somebody sick and then that saved money is going to be a lawsuit paid out. Greedy people...
