We waited over 15 minutes for mac n cheese when we were told 2. Then they missed part of our order. I went back in and the obviously undertrained staff demanded my food back to check my bag. I went back to the car, then she wanted my receipt and not just the drive thru slip (hello, you dont get a drive thru slip unless you paid) went back outside for the receipt. General manager was there. He walks over. I said I'd like a refund after all this. He actually TAKES my bag of food and sets it on the back counter. Clearly has had no customer service training. Tells me they're understaffed and had 2 people walk out today. (I can see why judging by how the place is run). I went from annoyed to really irritated because he did nothing to apologize for the inconvenience of sitting in a car with a crying baby for almost 20 minutes. and this guy was actually taking my kids dinner and making me go get them something else. I've worked in hospitality as a general manager for 10 years. Any manager who did that to a customer would be sitting with corporate. That's not how Hospitality is run.
Never once did he apologize other than for his computer being slow. While I was waiting in a calm demeanor I asked him honestly did he really feel this was proper customer service when his staff made the error.
He said some remark about they dont want people stealing chicken sandwiches. I was floored. Does he know that Minor loss is a part of any business.. You do not do that to at to a customer especially after I had already proven that I paid for it. The fact that he took the food and threw it away after I ask for a refund for a refund was ridiculous and I have never seen that anywhere.
Man needs some serious customer service training and the girl working the window needs needs taken off until she is...
Read moreThe management here needs to be disciplined or retrained or changed....this is a small Popeyes...and I have been to Popeyes all over NY, some better than others ..but, the chicken is always fresh, the biscuits moist, and the sides fresh. And the place cleaned...and these are much bigger and busier locations than this one.
This comes down to bad and lazy management. It is the boss's job to make sure the workers are given directives and adhered to those directives, not the employee to do the managers job and set the example...
The chicken was okay, but a little dry...but it was okay...not bad. The biscuit was dry, meaning old. The side was also not entirely fresh, and the sauce was spicy...but not bad.
The place was small, but a mess. Who cleans? Who is instructed to clean? It takes maybe five minutes to set chairs in place. Chairs were all over the place, and there was still crumbs and muck on one of the tables. No way would I ever eat here....
Like I said, I came in randomly. Also, place is dead. Not busy at all...only two people in drive through. Once again, where is the manager? Is there a manager?
This place is poorly kept, and there is plenty of competition from other local fast foods joints kept in much better shape. Someone in corporate needs to get this place in order asap.
I do not like to give bad reviews...but when I pay 12 dollars for chicken in an open box (the box was not even securely closed)...dry biscuit, and sub par mashed potatoes ..that to me says terrible...
Read moreTonight my husband and I had the worst experience either one of us ever had a restaurant. When he came home with our food, we were missing multiple items off our order. We had spent $35 altogether for just two meals. My husband tried calling the restaurant but when he said his order was not correct, he was hung up on. He then went down to the restaurant only to be told he was wrong and for the employees to insist they knew it was correct because they packed it out. The manager, Terra, argued with him and told him he had to come back AGAIN with all the food to prove to them the items were missing. I then tried calling the restaurant. Terra again answered the phone and when I tried explaining the situation, she repeatedly cut me off and would not let me speak. She then hung up on me too. When my husband went back FOR THE SECOND TIME with the food, the rude employees along with manager Terra were laughing and continuing to be rude and argumentative. There was never once an apology from any of them. Thank goodness for Eduardo, he actually took over and helped my husband resolve the situation. He listened to him and apologized multiple times. Eduardo prepared our food again for us and threw in some extra food, he truly is the only good thing going for that location. This location is known for bad service and I’ve had multiple bad encounters but this takes the cake. We will not be going back again and will be sure to let others know about this...
