Moco's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Whitehall

MoCos is one of our go to places to meet friends, have a drink and get some food.

MoCos is located in a steel building which is attached to a vehicle maintenance shop. There isn't much parking, but there are parking lots next door up a small hill.

The food is very good and nice sized portions. Typical bar food such a wings, fries, burgers, steak sub, etc. The zucchini sticks are really good. They have daily specials which are often very good.

We go on Wednesday evenings for Trivia night which is much fun. They also have live bands on the weekends, karaoke, and open mic nights. They are open for sporting events like the Superbowl and WVU games and holidays like New Year's Eve.

The only small concern I have is with the service. Seems like they go through a lot of employees which is typical for this area. It is difficult to find reliable employees. Some employees are good and some not so good, so depending on who is working the service may be good or not so good. I wish I had a solution to this concern, but good employees are difficult to find.

It's a good little neighborhood...

Everything tasted microwaved and the service was sub par at best. Server/bartender seemed uninterested and the atmosphere was bland. The drinks were watered down and for a family restaurant I didn’t feel very welcome. I feel like I heard a slur, although because of the poorly chosen music they played i’m not sure exactly that’s what I heard. Wouldn’t recommend this place, just sit in your own living room and eat a tv dinner for...

Just meh. Had a chicken sandwich with wilted partially brown lettuce, bun was basic untoasted and the che chicken was clearly a frozen chicken patty prepared by chef Mike (microwave) service was ok atmosphere kinda dull. May potentially give this place another shot...
