Wow was this place a dive! Stopped here for lunch before heading home from Vegas against my better judgment. First off when we walked in the place smelled like a combination of bleach and spoiled meat. Again, I did not want to stop here but the spoiled 21 year old that was with us was throwing a fit so we stopped just to shut her up. I ordered the super burrito. It had beef, beans, lettuce, tomato, cheese and sour cream. It also came with a handful of tortilla chips. I did not order a drink, just the burrito. My total was a little over $9! My sister ordered a street taco and cheese enchilada plate that came with beans and rice and a drink and her order was $18! Mind you, this is a dive, hole in the wall restaurant. There are no waitresses; you place your order at one window and 10 minutes later you pick it up at another window. The food was absolutely as expected, disgusting. The beef was so dry it sucked out all of the moisture from your mouth and had no flavor. It was obvious that it was a very inexpensive cut of meat. The beans were not refried beans, rather they were whole pinto beans with no flavor. The tortilla chips were so stale that they were chewy! Gross! I took 2 bites and threw the rest out. My sister said the taco was okay but agreed the meat was dry and flavorless. The cheese enchilada was not good as the cheese wasn't melted all the way through. For $30 we could have had lunch at Chili's and would have actually enjoyed the food and if we didn't the manager would have at least understood and spoke English. The bathroom in this place was so nasty. There was a woman mopping the floor right next to us with bleach water. After I threw my plate out I went outside and locked myself in the car as this place was clearly not in a good neighborhood. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who has tastebuds nor would I feed it to my dog (since that is probably what...
Read moreThis was the most disappointing experience with Mexican food I/we have ever had. The menu is misleading and the cost does not justify what you get. The combination burrito I ordered consisted of 4 flavorless/unseasoned ingredients; beans, rice, chicken, maybe 3 pieces of onion and NOTHING ELSE. No sides, no cheese, no salsa, no sour cream and ultimately no flavor. This is also the ONLY Mexican restaurant I have been to where chips and salsa weren’t included with a meal. I asked, “does this come with chips snd salsa?” She said no, so I asked for a side. I got home to discover that the extra cost of these unsalted chips did not include salsa. Why? Because that cost extra to. So for right around $17, I got the most underwhelming burrito I’ve ever had, unsalted chips, NO SIDES, NO SALSA and zero satisfaction. My cousin got the steak “Super nachos” and he was very disappointed as well. The cheese seemed to be microwaved on the chips, completely ruining them. The steak that covered them was unseasoned and chewy. That was all there was to them, no extra salsa, pico or sour cream. The only thing super about these, was the disappointment from spending money on them. A burrito, chips, salsa AND a drink from chipotle would have been 100x better and cheaper. I honestly don’t even think this place would be a good choice if you were drunk and it were the...
