Short story: the ice cream fell out of our cone and they wouldn't give us a new one.

Long story: my family and I ordered two cones from this place, which was not cheap, $25. I got the cones and walked them out to my family, not easy, because the cones stand pretty tall. I was in the process of handing one to my wife and the ice cream toppled right out of the cone all over the table.

I attempted to save the ice cream on a plate, but multiple strangers sitting nearby said "just go ask for a new one, they should give it to you." This is where it gets fun.

I go ask for a new one and the manager tells me they won't replace it, but offers me 50% off on a cup of ice cream ($7.50). Normally I'm not cheap. I mean cmon I just bought two ice cream cones for $25, but I was not about to pay for another ice cream discounted or not just because their tall ice cream fell out of my cone. A soft served ice cream that comes out of a machine. Could have pulled a lever and poured me a new one and kept me coming back instead they're getting this 1 star review.

She tells me "well I'll go check the cameras to see if we made it incorrectly and it was leaning." In my head I'm like "really? It's ice cream lol." I didn't just steal a rare labubu or something.

She comes back out and says it was straight up in the video so ultimately she wouldn't be giving me a new one.

I was speechless.

Moral of the story: if you go here be prepared for expensive ice cream and no mercy if you...

Rodeo 72 just opened recently (last week) and it's been blowing up all over social media. I wanted to check this ice cream spot for myself and I can say that it is good but not amazing. I personally don't find myself coming back again to purchase ice cream but I did want to give it a try. They also have a wide variety of selection but ofcourse the better options all cost extra which is lame since it's not necessarily cheap. Each ice cream you're looking at spending $13+.

I ordered the viral ube/pandan mix and was disappointed in a sense. Now I'm not sure if soft serves are water based but this one tasted like it was. It wasn't creamy or milky per say which is what I had imagined it be. The pandan flavor was nonexistent and the ube flavor was there but nothing amazing overall. I did order a chocolate waffle bubble cone which was good.

So obviously this place just opened and I get it was hectic on grand opening day, but when we went to order I was ordering on the tablet and notice the matcha flavor icecream wasn't available. So after trying to flag down a worker she heard me say excuse me and looked at me to then just completely ignore me. So then I had to get closer and say again more directly "do you guys have any more matcha icecream" and the worker responded with "no" then not even a minute later while waiting for the order I finally placed i see them give out matcha to someone else in line. I don't know why this worker decided to ignore me and lie for like no reason at all. Horrible...
