This is my new favorite food hall in the Los Angeles area!! I already have much love for the Rodeo 39 Public Market in Orange County, so I KNEW I had to come check this one out when I heard about its opening! It did NOT disappoint! I found all of the options for food and drinks here to be varied, diverse, unique, and creative! While visiting, I decided to give the Karai Hand-Roll & Ramen Bar a try, and found myself very pleased that I had! The 'Quatro' order of four handrolls for $20 (salmon, spicy tuna, yellowtail, shrimp tempura) was a great value and freshly prepared. I enjoyed the quality and flavor in each of them. The Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen here was also a solid bowl and will certainly hit the spot if you're having cravings for one. Kozan Tea House also had one of the BEST slushes I've ever ordered - the Strawberry Cloud! It was SO creamy and flavorful - I slurped that thing up!! I definitely recommend ordering it! The food hall also featured a sportsbar area with big TV screens that opens out to a nice outdoor patio. A band was playing while we were there, and it looks like a great area for hanging out and enjoying live music or other shows. Now, I've seen a few complaints about the lack of parking. It IS a bit tight...but living in Hollywood, I'm pretty used to that. I personally was able to find parking without too much trouble. With all that being said, I unsurprisingly HIGHLY recommend driving out to Rodeo 72 and trying out some of the food and drinks inside!

Unfortunately, my experience at The Basket Taco Co. was disappointing. As a first-time customer, I found the ordering process confusing due to the unique way they serve their tacos — the hard shell is closed with potato inside, while the meat and toppings are placed on top of the shell rather than inside. This style isn’t clearly explained on the menu or depicted accurately in the photos, so I had a few questions while ordering.

When I tried to ask for mixed toppings, the male employee helping me made me feel very unintelligent for not already knowing how their process worked. Instead of being patient or helpful, he seemed frustrated and ended up passing me off to someone else. During our interaction, he was also on his phone while wearing gloves, eating candy, and leaning against the wall in a way that felt very unprofessional.

The second employee, a woman, was slightly more helpful, but I still felt uncomfortable — like I was being judged for not understanding their system. I realize that for regular customers, their topping style might seem normal, but for someone new, it was confusing and not well-explained.

Later, when I needed a second plate because the one provided was soaked through with juices, I also asked for salsa. The original male employee handed me the green salsa without a word, didn’t acknowledge my “thank you,” and just stared. There was no language barrier, so the lack of courtesy felt unnecessary.

Overall, this wasn’t a welcoming experience for a first-time visitor. I hope the staff can work on being more understanding and professional, especially when helping new customers navigate a menu that isn’t...

I went to get boba at the Kozan boba shop and I was waiting by the counter ready to order for about 6 minutes and there was no line. The cashier was walking around checking and turning the drinks that were ready on the counter, checking the buzzers, tapping something on the ipad and kept doing that routine for 4 minutes more while I’m there waiting for her to stand still and ask me my order but that whole time she wasn’t looking up and wasn’t saying anything. Finally after waiting for a long time, I ask her do i have to order online because she’s not taking my order and she says no you order here give me a minute. Then walks away fast to go look at the drinks and walk to the kitchen. She finally comes back after a long time and stands by the ipad and is still not saying anything to me. I say can i get the watermelon cooler with boba and she just taps it and turns around the ipad really fast when it asks me for a tip. Before I even finish paying she walks away and doesn’t actually have anything to do. She doesn’t make eye contact, doesn’t say anything at all throughout the whole transaction and giving me my drink. Terrible customer service, horrible communication, and no...
