So my experience at this place started after I was finishing a protest March so I was very tired. I decided to walk down to rodeo 72 to see what food was available to fuel my body and then I saw your establishment. I was already familiar with Hawaiian food before but this seemed different it was like a remix. I saw something that look like spam musubi so I ordered it. Read moreI loved the chicken katsu with the kimchi butter! Very unique, very savory flavor. I did find the rice to not be on the same level of quality however. It was just a bit distracting. That being said, I thought the macaroni salad was great with just a bit of tuna mixed in that made for a really good texture.

Read moreThe katsu chicken with kimchi butter is by far their best dish and is something I would come back for again. The shrimp was cooked well so you’re able to eat the tail but not as flavorful as the katsu chicken. The spam musubi was pretty standard with the only exception being that the crème brûlée top added additional sweetness on the first bite. I prefer my spam musubi to be more savory that sweet so I would have preferred a more standard soy glaze.
