Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Whittier

I went into the store and waited in line for about 3 minutes before I was told I couldn't be inside the store without a mask on, although I stated I had an exemption. I was told I had to wait outside and order online and couldn't be inside without a mask on.

The stupidity of this, is that I had already been in the store for 3 minutes, there were people eating without masks on inside, and when I picked up my order, I was allowed to be inside, without my mask, for a good minute reading receipts trying to find my order.

The girl at the register was a bit rude and raised her voice at me from across the store, in front of other customers.

Their mask rules make zero sense and the employees are rude and discriminating against their customers. I wish my family wasn't hangry at the time so I could have left and gone somewhere else and not given money to this disrespectful place.

I generally love Jimmy John's and they have amazing food but won't be going back after...

Never been before. Wasn't interested in just another sandwich shop. I was surprised, in the best way. The service was prompt and friendly. My Gargantuan unwich (lettuce wrap) was killer - the best I have ever had. My wife's beef on whole wheat looked great, and she said it was way better than expected, especially the bread. Love the lunch box special. My 1st time here. Robert was very helpful he made great suggestions the #12 was delicious.
