This used to be our go to McDonald's. The food was always fresh and the staff was always great. I get things happen at times. But this just couldn't be overlooked. Our order was far from fresh in the drive thru. The hamburger patties were really dry and the bread was so hard and dry, cheese was crusting off, french fries were hard and cold, nuggets were cold. When we got home we noticed. I called them and was told they needed to see all the food and if we didn't go back that same night to have it replaced to put it in the fridge and bring it with me the next I wanted my meals replaced. We decided to go back right then and there. That's where this review comes in and the 1 star review. We get there, the lobby is closed. We were told to go through the drive thru. We did. Explained what happened, they told us to hold on. Then finally came back onto the speaker and told us to pull forward. We did. They then asked that we give them the bag of food that had already been in my house, unwrapped and bitten into. I said, no way that's disgusting with what's going on with Covid-19 for me to pass you a bag that could in turn potentially contaminate your entire kitchen. They said that that was the only way they could verify and replace my meal. I said I can't believe you guys are doing this and proceed to hand them the bag. They started to open and inspect everything in the bag in the kitchen next to other food being prepared. She then said okay drive up to the next window to get your order replaced. We drove up. I proceeded to tell the shift manager my concerns, which he wasn't interested in hearing and just handed us the bag. Not so much of an apology or offer of trying to make us feel better. Made us feel like he was doing us a favor by replacing our meal that we had paid for. We didn't even eat it. We were so disgusted with what happened and threw it away. But if you read the bottom statement from the owner, they go on to mention on how they are taking measures to keep employees and customers safe with contactless interaction....
Read moreAvoid This Place If You Can. I used to go to this place due to the proximity. Never Again. Many Times I’ve passed by for convenience but once I open the bag it becomes very inconvenient that there is a missing burger, or A Simple “no onion” request was ignored. These request are not made lightly due to health intolerance or allergies.
On My Way to an early morning business trip I decide to get a Latte From This Place Since I was facing a long drive. To my Disappointment when I took the first sip it tasted bland. It was only steamed milk, the incompetents forgot to put espresso on a latte. Obviously I could not get off the freeway and return to complain and get another coffee.
In a separate instance I requested a swap in bread in one breakfast sandwich, even though it’s not the first time for this request the employee taking the order said they don’t swap the breads. After I informed that they have done it before a manager was called. Beatrice, (that’s what she said the morning manager’s name was) said they will do it “this time” but it’s not something that they normally do. Once I opened the bag to confirm, they did swap the bread. To my surprise the other breakfast sandwich Was missing the egg, I’m suspicious it was out of spite. However being annoyed, I parked and took the eggless breakfast sandwich to get it done right. While I waited to get the replacement sandwich, another customer came in to complain about their order. Not surprising.
As much as anyone enjoys coffee no one likes it with a mouthful of...
Read moreI gave this place a few chances, giving benefit of the doubt that perhaps they were just having a bad day. But today, the 3rd chance, is where I am completely frustrated. First time, the line was (not long) moving so slowly, that by the time I made it to the window, at 11am sharp, they said I couldn't order breakfast. I was upset at the slow service and then straight up denial of breakfast so I placed a complaint via the mcdonalds site but never heard from the manager. Then the 2nd time, I placed a mobile order that took forever. Both of these times I figured I may have caught them on a bad day. So I went back today and I regret it because it took 20 mins for me to receive my order (just one coffee) via mobile order. I literally had to call the store to tell them I hadn't received it. My baby was in the back crying so I just wanted to do a quick pick up and I couldn't get off.
Clearly, this is a management problem, and a really embarrassing one given this is suppised to be a FAST food place. This is locally owned, so I'd think managers would care about local customers coming back. I know McDonalds is huge, and they won't go down under if I stop going, even if it is locally owned. But if I could, I'd like to deter any current and future customers because one day (or several), they're going to mess up and it's going to be...
