The "one star" rating today is just for today. I have been a strong supporter of HTEO in Wichita Falls since the day they opened. It is very near the school where I teach; therefore, I made it a habit of stopping on my way to school (oh how I appreciate the 7:00 opening time) and on my way home (love happy hour.) It wasn't unusual to make "HTE0 runs" during the day for me and my fellow teachers. Today was the absolute worst experience I have ever had and it is a shame, because the manager was out for a family emergency and it is a horrible that the employees that are "holding down the fort" would treat a customer like I was treated.First of all, I understand being busy and I do not mind waiting. One day last week, I waited in line for 20 minutes and did not complain . However, I do not understand "rude employees". After ordering today, I went to the pick up line and the employee asked me if I had a certain order. It was not my order so I said , no, that's not my order and I repeated my order. She left the window for a minute and asked again and did not have it correct so I repeated it again-she had which tea I wanted sweet and which I wanted unsweet switched. She then took my payment and handed me my receipt.I noticed that the teas were still switched. I was hoping to catch her before the teas were made so I gently knocked on the window. When she came to the window she acted put out and asked me " What do you need?" I explained to her again what I had ordered. I remained calm. She slammed the window and then handed me both my teas. I tasted and they were correct but then realized I needed straws so I again knocked on the window. That must have been the last straw for her because she opened it and said, "What do you need now?" in a very rude tone. I asked for the straws and asked her name so I could call back later to talk to the manager. She refused to give me her name. I then asked for the manager and she sent a co-worker who was not the manager to the window and she told me that there were just 2 of them there and they were busy. I told her that was no excuse to be rude. I left, took the tea to my daughter and decided to stop back by to talk to the manager or get corporate phone number. The manager was not there, the same girl told me that I would have to google to find find the corporate number. This is a big disappointment to me because I have literally spent $100s of dollars there. My students at the private school that I taught at also knew how much I loved HTEO and often brought me gift cards. It didn't take me long to spend the $100 gift card that my class got me for Christmas. I just hate to see a business suffer due to employees that don't care how they treat a customer when the...
Read moreI usually like going to HTeaO, I used to go near daily. I stopped going as frequently because I like buying the gallon Sweet Blueberry Sweet Tea, and half the time that I go, there are expired gallon jugs still in the fridge, sometimes no gallons that are in date. And today, I'm writing a bad review because I had absolutely horrible service. I went in to buy a medium tea and a gallon, got in line behind a woman with some children, while they were walking away, the associates behind the counter went to work on training just a couple feet way, they ignored me at the counter for a solid two minutes, an employee stocking the fridge also ignored me, and at around the two minute mark, the trainer and trainee finally acknowledged me and just said "someone will be with you shortly." Another person from the drive thru walked by, looked at me, looked at the two training, and proceeded to walk away. I waited a solid five minutes total before just having to leave because I was busy. Good tea, awful experience, and not overall good at stocking their fridge despite ignoring me...
Read more9-23-22 I use to love this location while in town and bragged about it. They got delicious and fresh tea always. Thatâs why I gave them two stars. Disappointed the last couple of visits havenât been so great. I donât like going somewhere and feel completely ignored. Some of the girls working here are rude and talk to much amongst themselves. Take care of your customers first so you keep business. I stood around over fifth teen to twenty minutes. I was never greeted or asked if I had been helped at all. I tried to get a few of the girls attention numerous times and they never gave me the time or day. Like today the manager on duty came out to question some girls in front of me if theyâd been helped. I was beside them and havenât been helped but she totally blew me off as I was not there. I said to myself, wow how rude. I know Iâm not invisible. I wanted to ask on a price on one of the Yetis. Nope it wasnât gonna happen. I felt like just leaving. It wasnât very busy to ignore me in such a way. I donât understand, why I had such a...
