My mother, my aunts, and I went here because we had heard that the queso was good. WRONG! The queso tasted like it had come from a can or maybe a Velveeta wrapper. The food was EXTREMELY salty, the shredded beef on our nachos was okay but other than that the rest was less tasty than I could have made on my own. The staff was extremely unfriendly and never checked on us after being served. They even seemed annoyed when we asked for small plates because we were sharing the nachos. Our hostess had a very unsightly and unprofessional hickey on her neck :(~ . When we finished we sat there for a long while not knowing if a check would be brought or if we paid up front and we couldn't get the attention of the staff because they wouldn't even look at us. So we went up and paid we got just as an unfriendly finish to our terrible experience as we did the beginning. DO NOT waste your time, money or patience on this place.....it isn't worth it. I am only giving a star above 1 because the beef was okay and the tea was good....but other than that everything else was an extremely unpleasant and disappointing experience for all 4 of us. Read moreI go in to pick up an order for me and my co workers. My co worker that ordered them was told it would be 50 something dollars. When I go pick it up it turns out to be $75.13. So I’m surprised by this but I put my card in the machine ANYWAYS! Then I call my co worker to verify. I spend some time at the register with the woman trying to figure things out and she HANDS me the bag and tells me to have a nice day. Apparently the order was not paid and she never double checked to make sure. So you messed up and make me look like a criminal?? Learn how to do your job correctly and this would have never happened. I know your it’s such a hard job and all, but seriously?!?!? If my card did not go through, then it’s your job to catch that, not mine…. Then I call to resolve the issue and I’m on hold for 13 minutes before I even get to speak with anyone. Then I speak to the Togo girl and it got ugly. Instead of saying hey there must have been a mistake or something, can we fix it. She was rude and would not listen. The situation was not handled appropriately in any way...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst service I’ve ever had. To begin, I called to place an order for take out and was put on hold immediately. After waiting for 5 minutes on hold I hung up and called back, all while driving towards El Norteno. I finally go through to a lady who asked if she could put me on hold. I responded with that’s fine. I got to the restaurant, still on hold and parked where I could see through I never knew that a walk in customer was anymore important than a to-go order. When you have 4-5 people Working and 4 of those are either sitting at a table talking and playing in their phones why you have 10 people waiting in line to either make a to-go order or pick up one, that’s a major problem! I was told by two different ladies this morning when I asked if I could place an order to-go that I would have to wait on the lady working on to-go orders and they couldn’t help me, all while standing behind the counter and doing absolutely nothing!
