Lala's Cocina — Restaurant in Wichita Falls

My burrito was pretty good. The salsa is hot verde. It needs salt but there's salt on the table. When you order, be specific about things. I thought i was specific but it didn't come out quite the way I ordered. I asked for a side of beans and rice but they put it inside my burrito instead. I ordered it like this because I enjoy eating my chips and salsa with the sides. And I opened the burrito up and found that the beans and rice were very minimal so they got over on me. It wasn't a full side of beans and rice, it was a couple of small spoonfuls and I paid alot for it. The burrito itself was about $13 After they added the spoonful of beans and rice and a can of coke i was paying about $25!!! I understand people get busy and things can get hectic in the kitchen setting, but at least make it right with me and not charge me for something I didn't order. I figured they would take the sides off since they got it wrong, but they gave me full charge on the sides. I didn't say nothing to them because that's the way I am I let others make things right I don't argue or anything I just don't go back. That's how I find good restaurants versus bad restaurants. Service means a lot when you go out and eat. If they read this and make it right with me I may change it a bit because I like to support small businesses. I was just a little bit disappointed. Never eating here again. For one I ordered my son a kid’s burrito he ate some of it never finished it. I wasn’t going to throw it in the trash, so I fed the rest of it to my dog. Today my son wakes up at 6 am throwing up! Never thrown up in his life he’s only 2! Threw up multiple times after that now he has diarrhea. My dog also starts throwing up this morning! I can’t not believe this! We always eat together & eat the same thing. But that’s the only meal all day I didn’t eat with him because I got my own plate. & he got his own burrito! Also some of the food was soooooo salty!! BUT the rice & salsa have absolutely not favor at all. The rice & potatoes were undercooked. Just Disgusting! My wife and I absolutely love this place. It’s a small restaurant (easy to miss if you’re not looking for it) over on Kemp Street in the same center as the donut shop. The food is delicious and the people are nice. We’ve eaten at Lala's 12-15 times over the past few months. We've eaten in and we've called for pickup. We've eaten breakfast and we've eaten lunch. We've tried several different items on the menu and found each one to be delicious. They serve the biggest homemade tortillas I've ever seen and they are SOOO good.
