Northside Grill — Restaurant in Wichita Falls

Stopped for lunch on our way home. The food, service, and atmosphere were great! It's not outstanding, but I would frequent here if I lived in Wichita Falls. My husband had the enchilada platter, and I had the hatch green chili cheeseburger with crly fries. They call the Q's. The enchilada platter was a very hefty portion and definitely Tex-Mex style. Think of Taco Beuno's Whole Lotta Platter but made somewhat from scratch. I could tell the chili was from a can. All in all, it's a good meal for the price. The hatch green chili burger was good, but the chilies lacked the flavor I was hoping for. Their ranch is so good. It's definitely the mix together kind. My favorite! They have lots of tvs with different sports, which is fun. Seems the locals enjoy it as well as the whole place was filled when we left. Our server was really nice and good at her job, but it seemed she really didn't want to be there or just didn't enjoy smiling today, lol. It could've just been a bad day for her. Nonetheless, we would stop in again for a drink and a place to chill and eat when we are traveling...

Went here yesterday for lunch after work with friends. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted with smiles and the sweet and savory smell of BBQ! We decided to sit in the bar area and I took advantage of their $2.75 drink special. I was expecting the drink to be super small and weak, but it was the opposite. My vodka tonic was 12 oz., strong, and delicious. Since I wasnt driving I had two.

We flipped through their menu and I decided to get their chicken wings and a side of their chili. One of my friends got their all beef chili dog with fries and my other friend got their bbq chicken sandwich. My chili was delicious and super hearty and not too salty. The wings left a little bit to be desired as they were not super flavorful, but they were big and I loved that they gave me both ranch and blue cheese. I definitely would come back and get more of their chili!

I loved the entire vibe of the restaurant. The music was jammin and there were tons of tvs for watching sports and news. If I wasn't so tired from having to be at work at 4am I would've...

I usually do not leave a review unless it is something super special or if I would like for people to be aware of something. This time unfortunately nothing special happened except a shift Manger of the restaurant asked me to leave the dog outside or for me to leave with the dog, but the dog has to leave. Initially, the manager asked to place the dog under the table, then on the sit and finally she asked us to leave. Well, nothing person against the manager, but it is a summer time in Texas with a heat over 90F outside. The manager suggested for me to sit on a patio... a patio is an area of few metal tables located- by the trash can!!! And just sono one will say Health Department - there is no sign not allowing dogs on premisses. Moreover, the same manager said, if that would have been a service dog - then the dog can stay!!! And magically there will be no Health Department issue there! Hypocrisy, but who am i to say, i am just a dog owner. That is all I have to say...
