If you're a fan of Japanese and Korean cuisine, you'll definitely want to check out Taki-Ramen, a cozy and welcoming restaurant located in Wichita Falls, Texas. Taki-Ramen has built a reputation for serving up some of the best ramen and Korean-style dishes in the area, and its Spicy Bulgogi Bowl is a standout dish that you won't want to miss. Let's start with the Spicy Bulgogi Bowl. This classic Korean dish consists of marinated beef, vegetables, and a spicy sauce served over a bed of rice. At Taki-Ramen, the Spicy Bulgogi Bowl is exceptionally flavorful and perfectly balanced in terms of spice and sweetness. The beef is tender and well-marinated, and the vegetables are fresh and crunchy. The rice serves as an excellent base for the dish, and the portion size is generous, making it a satisfying and filling meal. But the Spicy Bulgogi Bowl is just one of the many delicious dishes on the menu at Taki-Ramen. The restaurant also serves up some of the best ramen in Wichita Falls, with a variety of broths and toppings to choose from. In addition to the excellent food, Taki-Ramen also offers friendly and attentive service. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and willing to make recommendations, making the dining experience enjoyable and hassle-free. The restaurant itself is cozy and welcoming, with a relaxed and casual ambiance. The decor is minimalistic, with simple wooden tables and chairs, and the lighting is warm and inviting. Another great thing about Taki-Ramen is its affordability. The prices are reasonable, making it a great option for a casual night out or a quick lunch break. In conclusion, Taki-Ramen is a must-visit restaurant for anyone who loves Japanese and Korean cuisine. The Spicy Bulgogi Bowl is a standout dish that is flavorful, filling, and reasonably priced. With its friendly service, cozy ambiance, and affordable prices, Taki-Ramen is a great spot for a delicious and satisfying meal.

This is my second time visiting Taki Ramen. It was a hit and miss experience. Our first trip was amazing so maybe it was an off night. First, beware the yakisoba. If you are a fan of the distinct flavor of bonito mixed with a smoky brisket and smoky sauce then you may enjoy it, but I prefer my bonito in a soup. Subtle and complimentary, not front and center. This is the major reason for 3 stars. We had the bulgogi soft bun and they were delicious. Don't laugh but slightly reminiscent of a sloppy joe taste. This is not bad just an idea of expected flavor. The ingredients were all well balanced and seemed to be quality. I had the chi-bob with seoul pop sauce. It was spicier than expected but tasty. The portion was a bit less than I would've liked, but who can tell with costs these days. Finally, my wife had the bulgogi rice. It was the best dish tonight. Just fatty enough beef with great rice and fresh corn, pickled jalapenos, green onion, and sauce. The combination was satisfying, rich and clean tasting all at once. I recommend it. I marked down service because while it was fairly busy our wait was significant. Even for our drinks. My wife's drink order was incorrect and the bill was wrong. We paid the extra money on the bill because we like small business, but it was an annoyance. If you've made it this far...I still highly recommend a stop, but stick to ramen, apps, and curry. Oh and the bulgogi. Update: Had the aka ramen 1/2 spice for lunch. Great spice and flavor. Had bonito fries. Amazing! The buns are always great

Great spot to get your ramen fix. We first ordered our drinks after being greeted and shown to our booth. My husband ordered the blueberry saki bomb. It tasted like a blue slushie that you get from a gas station but w/ liquor in it. It was very good and gave you a nice lil' buz. I especially liked the chashu bun and the shareable fried calamari. My Tonkatsu Chashu Ramen was delicious. I added mushrooms and fish cake. The mushrooms were very flavorful and tasted like they had been marinaded in a terriyaki type of flavoed marinade. My husband ordered the bulgogi ramen. It was also so yummy. The only thing I didn't particularly care for was the side dipping sauce for the shareable fresh fried calamari. I believe it was plain regular mayonnaise. I have never had that as a choice dipping sauce and would not recommend anyone to. I definitely advise against this choice and suggest some type of sweet & sour sauce, maybe a sweet asian chili sauce or eel/ unagi sauce or even good ol' fahion cocktail sauce but definitely not what was served that resembled plain mayo. Granted, you could ask for spicy mayo instead, but I was wanting something w/ a lil more tang. Other than that... I highly recommend stopping by to try this restraunt and it's food yourself. Hopefully, they'll have better and more option choice dipping sauces. Thank you, Taki Ramen Management and staff, for providing such a clean restraunt, fresh and tasty food, and great customer care and service. We will definitely be back!

I rarely make reviews. But it’s gotten to the point where I feel like I need to. I’ve been a repeat customer to Taki since it opened. It’s been my boyfriend’s and my go-to date night restaurant for over a year. Now, I am not sure what changed but it’s gone downhill. The last 4-5 times my boyfriend and I have gone the service is mediocre at best. The waitstaff would rather sit on their phones or talk to each other than do their job. The first 3 times this happened, I was like you know it must be one of those nights. But times before our appetizer has been forgotten to be entered in, brought to us, my main dish last time was cold, but again that time I was trying to be understanding. We went again yesterday, our server was Landon and it was not even remotely a busy night. It took forever for him to get our drink orders then our food order. Again, I’d understand if it was busy but there were plenty of workers there. Our food took way longer to come out than it usually does. The server didn’t check on us. When it was time to pay, he forgot to bring the card back with the receipt. Just the service was awful, as it has been the last few times. Even the taste of the meal went down. I had the spicy bulgogi rice bowl. My boyfriend had the Aka ramen. He agreed that the ramen’s taste wasn’t nearly what it used to be. What we paid is certainly not worth the wait, the service, nor the food anymore. Unfortunately, we have agreed to not go back for awhile and find another place that is actually worth the price and the wait.

UPDATE: so, originally I had given this restaurant a 3-star review. My boyfriend and I went back yesterday around lunch time. The difference in a month is crazy. SO MUCH better. The waiter (was a different waiter than last time, thankfully) was nice, funny, and made sure we were taken care of. The water pitcher at the table with the cups was a great idea and awesome improvement. Along with, adding a button to push if we needed anything. The food even tasted better. So, I thought it was only fair to update my review to 5-stars because of the great service we received yesterday. Hopefully, the service stays this great in the future. Will take a few more visits to completely restore my faith here. But going...

I'm telling you, do not go on a Friday night! The place was packed. I went with my sister and we waited 20 minutes to be seated and we're given 2 seats at the bar. We waited another 15 minutes until we were helped and asked to sit at a recently cleared table. I had the aka ramen before and really enjoyed it. This time it melted my face off and made me throw up two bites into it. i poured my other ramen into it in a desperate attempt to cut the spice.it was unsuccessful and so we flagged down the waitress and asked that she take the practically untouched two bowls of ramen back and just bring me a new bowl of garlic ramen in replacement. She agreed and upon receiving bill I was still being charged for those two bowls of ramen. I insisted that if I was going to pay for it that they just make me two new bowl of ramen because I sent them back missing two bites maximum. The waitress went back and forth with me and was very rude and at one point insulted me calling me dumb. She dropped one bowl and said that I had to pay for the other even though I sent it back. She then brought her manager over who brought the owner over and we were eventually able to get it sorted out. However, when I was brought my replacement ramen I ordered a large and was charged for a large, I received a small. Honestly I didn't even mind paying for the ramen that I had to send back but they should have left it with me and I could have taken it home to someone who may have been able to eat it. I'm sorry but I'm not paying an extra 30 dollars for something I didn't even touch I understand that it would have been different if I had eaten all but three bites and asked for it to be comped but that was not the case I believe I was being very fair in my situation. And I will say that this is not the first time I have had issues with that same server I was assigned. The only real silver lining was the understanding and compassionate owner. I enjoy Taki ramen but I must say it will take a lot for me to return. Huge gratitude to the owner who was able to understand my concern and help...
