Sugar Shak Daylight Donuts — Restaurant in Wichita

Service was good and friendly but the donuts were the worst I’ve had in the wichita area! I picked up a box with a mixed assortment at 830 am and they taste stale as if they are yesterdays donuts… half of my fritter was missing the glaze, the glazed donuts were refrigerator cold and tough. I can’t rate the hot items as they had none of their sausage rolls or breakfast pockets… daylight donuts are usually my favorite donut I grew up with them and have been to over 20 locations through the Midwest. These are the worst...

I went about 6am on a Saturday and there was a good selection of donuts. It started with a dozen but ended with 20 with a variety of round and specialty donuts. I ended up spending $35 and some change. I'm finding that in this economy, everything is becoming more costly than it should be. I remember when you could get a dozen for less than $10.00... The donuts were good but not anything I wouldn't expect from a dnout shop. There is a better value at Noah's Donuts but that'd be a 20 minutes plus...
