I have been coming to Warren Theatres ever since they opened and I usually have a good experience there, it is a little pricey but it worth it considering the nicely decorated atmosphere, spacious rooms, comfortable seats, professional staff and superb cleanliness. Today was not a good day, I tried to find show times on the warren theatres website today and it was not working it directed me to a Regal Crown website and I realised the ownership had changed and the website was a mess. I tried to call the Movie Hotline number and it directed me to a 1-800 line with a choppy automated digital voice that was hard to understand. We get to the theatre and purchase tickets, they were different looking like a receipt. Then we head to concession stand and realise they have Coke products instead of Pepsi, and the cups and popcorn buckets were very different looking (kinda cheap looking). These were just small observations I made and not deal breakers just giving a very detailed review of my experience. I noticed some of the seats had stains on them and their were a couple of people that were on their phones constantly. The attedants never did a walk through during the whole movie. There was a man behind us that was making strange sounds, at first I thought he was reacting to the movie because there were alot of scary scenes and I was a little jumpy myself. I then realized he was getting louder and making some moaning sounds , which freaked me out and prompt me to turn around and look at him. I couldnt see exactly what this person was doing but he was bent over in the chair with his face close to his phone. This person made me very uncomfortable but I tried to ignore this and pay attention to the ending of the movie. When it was over he immediately left his sit and was walking very fast, I tried to catch up to him so I could point him out to management but there was a large crowd in front of us and he had vanished. I didn't bother telling an attendant of the situation because he was already gone. This ruined the movie for us. I really hope that the manager and owner see this post because they need to realize that this theatre was great under Bill Warrens ownership and if they try to cut corners and cheapen the experience you will lose alot of customers. I understand that it is your business but the reason why so many people love these theatres is because they were always so beautiful, clean and very professional. I haven't decided whether or not I want to come back to the theatre or not I may have to go to another town to watch movies from now on. This is my honest review and I hope that Regal Crown will take...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe best customer service. I have personally watched the employees be more than happy to help regardless of the issue. 3rd post.. I decided to post another review because not every understands my sense of humor. Bottom line is, me and both of my kids have been sick off of too much butter due to us (meaning my daughter) requesting it and me and my son were up for the challenge. We all got sick. And I would still take them to the movies again. 100% I do reviews and have it started out making artwork with their food / whatever in addition to their 5 star ratings (inappropriate but hilarious lol don't ask), but realized I could do more than post a bunch of random stuff out of.. things. I know for 100% fact that people go to the movies just to eat the popcorn in addition to a good movie.. It's worth the $5 versus $1 a bag on non-butter popcorn you could make at home. Guy who doesn't like the commercials.. I'm not sure if you stare at the movie photograph ad that your about to see or YouTube it but.. trailers are how I personally find out must see movies even if it takes 5 or more years. Although movie theaters profit off of sales, in order for a company like this to survive, we need the trailers so please show up 10 minutes late to your] movie. I am a nobody lol just a small town girl hoping that the place I call home doesn't shut down like the west mall or the dollar movie theater. Our families deserve more options to make memories and instead of shutting down good companies willing to look at their reviews to improve. 4th UPDATE coming...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUsually good experience here. Just went to see Minecraft with the kids. I didn't know that you can just show the guy my etickets so I went to the little self-service kiosk to print them. Screen said please go to another kiosk or to the counter. Went to counter and a teenage looking kid rolled his eyes and said just show the guy your etickets. Kid didn't greet me at all. Really looked like he hated his job. Didn't get his name but had fluffy light brown hair and piercings all in his face. Went to food counter to get popcorn, exactly same interaction with a teenage girl. Walked up and I greeted her. No response. She just stood there staring at me. Told her my order and she acted like I was dragging her through hot lava.
I'm aware this may be a parenting problem but when they work for your company as employees whose jobs it is to deal with customers all day, maybe at least teach them how to greet people. We're paying over 10 bucks for popcorn and 6 bucks each piece of candy. The least y'all can do is take all my money with a smile and POSSIBLY an Enjoy Your Movie!
If by chance any parents of teenagers come across this, teach them to be good people. Also teach them that if they hate their job, go get a different one.
The theater as whole needs a deep cleaning. The ornate facade over the center food area has an inch of dust all over it. Maybe get metal face up there to use his hair as a...
