If I could give this a zero star review I absolutely would. Went here around 11:30pm on April 5th 2019 and had the worst restaurant experience I have ever had in my life. I get off work around 11pm so late nights is usually when I have dinner, my other half and I decided to go out to eat, and decided on denny’s because we wanted to switch it up a bit. We got to the Denny’s and realized that there was one other customer other than my other half and I and we’re a bit excited because we thought that we would get our food pretty quickly. My other half goes to the bathroom to wash his hands and I am standing waiting to be seated. A few minutes go by and the lady finally notices there is a customer, and seats me. I didn’t mind waiting a bit, she might not have seen me come in and I should have said something. So I ask where the bathroom is once my other half gets back, I didn’t see what direction he went, and am told by the waitress that it is good that I am going before I get food because the bathroom is disgusting and smells awful. Can’t blame her for saying so because it did smell awful to the point where it was hard to breathe. Sat down and decided on an appitizer, ordered drinks, thought everything was going smoothly. Got the sampler platter, specifically ordered the three selection one with mozzarella sticks and two sides of bbq boneless wings. It took about twenty minutes for us to get the appetizer and we still hadn’t been able to order the main course because the waitress walked away right after we said what we wanted for the appetizers. Also note that there is one other person in the entire restaurant other than the 3 or 4 staff members. So appetizer gets there and it is mozzarella sticks and chicken strips. I mention that we asked for boneless bbq wings, not chicken strips. She takes them back, gives us our mozzarella sticks, and it takes another 15 minutes to get the boneless wings. They come out drenched in grease and with no sauce on them whatsoever. We decide that she is probably just having a bad night so bite the bullet and just eat the wings as is. We wait another 10-15 minutes and still haven’t been able to order our meal. At this point we decide to just leave and go to another restaurant, so we ask for the ticket. I was surprised how fast we got the ticket with how long everything else took, but I checked the prices of everything on the menu like I normally do, then walked up the pay. She charged us for the 4 piece appetizer sampler when we had specifically said 3. I inquire about this, and she says “no you got the 4, mozerella sticks and two sides of chicken...” then she stops and I say “ya, that adds up to three.” Then she says “well I gave you the 4 one because otherwise you guys would have only gotten 2 strips each and I thought you wanted more” when they messed up the order in the first place there were 4 mozzarella sticks and 4 chicken strips. This lady was just over charging me because she messed up on the order in the first place and didn’t like that we sent it back. She pulled an attitude the whole time, and gave us a reason never to go back. That and my other half and I should have never eaten that chicken because now we are both sitting up sick at 4 in the morning, they literally made our stomachs turn. After they settled. I just payed for the bigger sample platter because I didn’t want to fight with her about it, it was late and we had already been there about an hour by the time we left. Honestly I regret even paying a dime them and thing the owner should seriously re-consider who they hire on. That and a health inspector should make his way in there soon. The bathroom didn’t smell like feces, it smelled like mold and week...
Read moreWarning, Don't eat here... A couple of weeks ago we went to get something to eat late night. We figured we go here since it was close and since it was late that nobody would be there and we could eat in peace. We pulled up and every single staff member was outside smoking and talking. Even the manager. There was customers inside with no waitresses or waiter. We eventually got halfway to the door and they all headed inside like a herd of sheep. The waitress was awful. She stood like 3 feet away from us when she took our order for drinks and took about 20 minutes to come back and get our food order. The staff hid in the back and eventually made their rounds. My food was undercooked, they added cheese to my eggs when specifically said no cheese. It was cold and took over 40 minutes to get to us. We only saw the waitress 4 times, one when ordering drinks and eventually getting them after 10 minutes, then ordering food and when she brought it to us with our ticket already printed out. She never came around asking if we needed refills or needed anything else. We had to flag down another waiter just to get our waitress to come back so we could order our food! The other waitress that was serving other people was rude to her customers, she was loud and very unprofessional as well and seemed bias to other certain customers. She bumped into my sons chair more than once, never apologized. We asked her if we could speak to the manager and she tried to take on the problem herself and I told her this was an issue that needed to be brought up to management and she clicked her tongue and said okay baby. Um. I'm not your baby and please never say that again to me. Manager came to our table, she wasn't friendly, she said oh okay. Oh okay. Oh okay, I'll talk with her and that was it. She never apologized or offered to make it better. I even showed her my food and that it was undercooked and all she said was, oh okay. We then got up and paid, the male waiter with the braid who never does anything but stand around and talk to other staff and hides somewhere, was at the register and said he get the waitress to ring us up and I said no we're not waiting forever for that and she can keep the change which was about 38 cents. He asked if everything was alright and I said no, service, food and management sucks. So we went yesterday afternoon to get some lunch. We seen a waitress and waiter at the register but wasn't greeted or acknowledged other than a glance. The waitress went to a booth and began gabbing on her phone. They should have an employee breakroon for that. Well a few minutes later low and behold that same waitress we had issues with was there. I said ah damn under my breath. She seen us, talked to a red headed waiter, he looked at us and said something to her and I looked at my group and said lets get out of here. We proceeded to go to the dennys on east kellogg where it was complete opposite. East dennys had epic food, epic waiter in which I tipped almost 40 dollars. No excessive wait time for anything, our drinks were always remembered and always filled. We left full and happy. I'm a big tipper, I always give back to those who deserve it and that girl who waited on us at east harry? Well she missed out. Only tip I can give her is maybe get a different job like at a call center. I'll never go to the dennys on harry street again. I rather go to ihop than to go thru the torture of being in that...

The walls were adorned with vintage posters and photographs, each narrating a story from a bygone era. The dimly lit space hummed with lively conversations and the clatter of cutlery, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that transported me back in time.
The place exuded an undeniable rustic charm. The weathered wooden tables and chairs hinted at the countless conversations and shared laughter they had witnessed over the years. The flickering candlelight on each table added a touch of romance, casting playful shadows on the walls and setting an intimate mood.
As I settled into my seat, I couldn't help but notice the intriguing requirement of a password to access the restroom. This unexpected twist added an element of mystery and excitement to my dining experience. Curiosity piqued, I inquired about the reason behind this unique practice.
To my surprise, I learned that the local community had faced challenges with drug use in the past. The diner, being a beloved gathering spot for both locals and visitors, had taken proactive measures to ensure the safety and well-being of its patrons. The password system was implemented as a discreet way to monitor restroom usage, preventing any illicit activities from occurring within the establishment.
This revelation deepened my admiration for the diner and its commitment to the community. It was evident that they genuinely cared about the welfare of their customers and were willing to go above and beyond to create a secure environment. This additional layer of security not only made me feel protected but also fostered a sense of trust and camaraderie among the diners.
However, it was the food that truly stole the show. The menu boasted an array of delectable dishes, each crafted with love and meticulous attention to detail. From sizzling steaks to irresistible burgers, every bite was a...
