I have never been here before. A very special person to me actually shows me things all over town but I've never been here! I was terrified that all they served Cantonese or something. Turns out they have Chinese and Vietnamese, American all kinds of food. An all you can eat buffet, plus a complete salad bar a dessert table. And you go back as many times as you want for $14 a person... and it's well worth it the food was fresh and tasted amazing also very clean and stocked up. Also the staff started out as a family-owned company they're all amazing people, they are Chinese but speak amazing English and very personable. It's like they were almost a highlight of the show!! And not once did our drinks run out and whoever walks by grab them, there was no this is your table or that's your area... including the owners. It was the most comfortable thing I had done in several months. even the booths that we sat in or way taller than we were so it kind of confined us, felt amazing conversation was great without some interruptions from around you. And I firmly believe that dinner should be based around conversation about how your day went and how your family is doing... I should still have to request that they release the passwords to the Wi-Fi. They said their son hooked it up and wasn't there and unreachable I have to say in this day and age that when you step out in the public you're going to need your phone even if it's to post on Google, Google Maps or even Google contribute. Yes you could probably post them later but don't want to miss a beat if you want to look something up. My friend is an artist and he makes a lot of things on his cell phone, so as an artist you need access to those things at all times. I'm a structural artist (an architect). You may have to work on the drop of a dime that's how art works.... it just comes to you. Overall has been the best day I've had several several weeks. It was nice to get out ... great convo, great scene, amazing hospitality!! Whatever you do, do not leave without rubbing the Buddha. My friend rub the Buddha about a year ago and won $10,000 the next day he seems to think that had something to do with it. I rubbed it the other day and that next week was so much better than the previous week. Thank you family!! As soon as you release the Wi-fi password, you're going to be my favorite new...
Read moreWent to Shanghai for the first time with my hubby for lunch. It was a rainy day and we haven't eaten all morning and we thought we try it out. As my husband wheel me in (I'm in a wheelchair), the owner lady was happy and talking and joking to other customers, but she didn't sound that way with us or talk to us much. My hubby ask for a diet Pepsi and I ask for water, and we went to go get our food. When we came back he got a diet Dr. Pepper instead and ask me to taste it if it was diet Dr. Pepper. He did got a wrong drink from the waitress. So I told the owner lady my husband didn't get the diet Pepsi. She didn't say anything to us just took the cup and left and the waitress came out with the correct drink. My husband place his drink in front of me because the 2 seat table was small and there was not enough room to put our plate and napkin and utensils. I did took some sip of the drink too make sure it was diet Pepsi cause of his health issues. I my self can't have caffeine. As we were eating and chatting, I noticed my husband only got two refills, so I ask the waitress for a third refill, I notice she wasn't that happy. Then the owner lady came to tell my husband in low voice that he can't be sharing his drink. I was like What!! I told her I wasn't drinking it. She said we have cameras and that it wasn't fair. I still told her I didn't drink it! I did sip it to make sure it was diet. I insist I didn't. It upsets me for her to come up to me accusing me like I stole a drink from her restaurant. I have anxiety and would of said more thing but my anxiety was getting to me. I try stay calm and end it. We will never go there again!!! KING BUFFET food was way better and more options and treat us with so much respect. We went there the day before. It's out of Wichita about 15 minutes drive so...
Read moreAs we walked in with our two children we were asked how old is my oldest is by a man who works there, then 10 minutes later after we were seated, another girl who works there came and asked how old is my son again, I have answered it again and I let her know that we have already been asked, then during the time we were eating, I went to grab some food, and while I was gone another girl who works there went asking my husband how old is our son, after I came back and my husband went to grab food, another woman who works there comes up taking the empty plates then in seconds she goes how old is your son!!!!! I just stoped eating and I looked at her and told her that we have been asked multiple times by different people!!!!! What is the problem I asked her? If it is money, then don’t worry we are here to eat and we are going to be paying!! So what is the deal and started wanting to argue. We haven’t been there to this buffet for the last almost 7 years and I don’t think we are going to go back there is this is their way to treating people. We didn’t do anything wrong. My son didn’t move from his seat unless me or his dad with him and the other little one in his highchair eating. We answered the same question by different people four times!!! Idk what was our mistake. Once we were done we left a tip on the table and paid our bill at the front desk and left. That...
