Short Review- Go, you'll love it and support a local business and experience a good product, good environment, with good value.
A Novel Review- Today was my first visit to this location, and I found myself pleasantly surprised. I know, most would cut to the chase, but I think if we really asked ourselves, "What makes a good coffee place?", we'd immediately realize it's more than the coffee. So to begin, I'll cover the "more than" and then move to the obvious.
The environment was humble, clean and unique. With larger round tables designed for a group, to small two person tables and single person chairs hosting small individual tables, it appeared as if they planned to host anyone at anytime. What was especially surprising was an open patio feel that they were able to incorporate into it, with picnic tables to boot.
The staff was responsive and friendly, bringing my coffee to the table after brewing a new batch. The coffee was hot, as it should be, but it was also perfect. If you're wondering, unlike my reviews, my coffee choice is simple. A Rich, Black cup that's not burnt, cold or stale. So when it comes to specialties, unfortunately I'm not much help.
While I had the coffee purchased for me by the individual I was meeting, the price was more than reasonable. Definitely...
Read moreThis is my first google review so leaving this review is pretty serious to me because I usually don’t care enough to tell the world what I think. Literally no one ever smiles none of the girls seem happy to be there. Every time I go in I make a bet with myself that I won’t get greeted or smiled at and win every time LOL. I’ve also never been to a coffee shop where they don’t ask or tell me to pour my own almond milk into my cold brew they just leave the cup open with no lid and then the milk for me to pour it myself… it’s also every time I have my son in one hand and purse in the other I have to pour it. Not only does their customer service suck but the lady at the counter today literally snatched a gift card my son was touching out of his hands and when I say snatched she reached over the computer and just casually yanked it from his hands. She was visibly irritated when she did it. My son is almost 2 and is obviously still learning and for a random stranger working at a Christian coffee shop do that to him really hurt my heart. I go there at least 3 times a week...
Read moreA lovely, cozy, place to meet. A friend and I met there right when they opened @ 7am. There were others waiting for them to open as well. Service was quick and the staff pleasant. The prices seemed a bit higher, but when I received the coffee, tea and coffee cake I was satisfied. They portions were sizable and the products delicious. There were comfortable sofas and big comfortable chairs with pillows to sit on; table options to sit on and eat at as well. In a room off from the main one, there were board games for playing. The music playing wasn't loud or random. Throughout the hour I was there people streamed in 1 and 2 at a time but it never felt crowded or rushed. Would definitely...
