The Field House — Restaurant in Wichita

I don't drink much or often anymore (or at least not now), let alone in public but If I do, The Field House is my preferred bar. Although The Field House is the only bar I've been to (aside from a random bar in Leavenworth I ran to during a nearby Halloween party for a shot of Crown), there's a reason I'm not out searching for other bars to try.

The atmosphere is warm and the staff is friendly making for a bar that appeals to multiple demographics. "Hey man, what does the demographics that this bar appeals to mean for me?" You may ask. Well, it means you don't know who you're gonna meet! For me, your average loner, this means when I sit up at the bar, there's a solid chance I'll have an interesting conversation with a rando.

I gotta go get this bird's nest cut off my head so I'mma wrap it up. If you're on the fence about whether or not you should check out The Field House, You should definitely check it out!

Google wants an update for my review. Field House is still my favorite. Leslie, John, and their staff make this wonderful place a second home to so many. Friends, family, and all those passing through are all just a conversation away from meeting new and interesting people in a down to earth, no nonsense setting where trivia, sports, and even dog shows might be on the TVs at any given point. It's a college bar, enough should be said there. It doesn't look the prettiest but the vibe and atmosphere is really fun if you go with a good group of friends. The music is fun to sing along with, not really dancing unless it's in your seat and laughing with those around you. Would 100%...
