Firehouse Subs New Market Square — Restaurant in Wichita

I thought the girl taking our order was extremely nice. She acted like she cared that we were there. Food is always good. My husband was so happy when Firehouse finally came to Wichita. The only reason I didn't give five stars was because our $3.99 chili, I felt should have been filled to the top of the little cups they come in. I also like that they let me order a kids sub. I cannot eat even the small one, the kid's size is perfect. 6-23 We come here often. Last few times have been mediocre. I will never understand why you quit selling fritos. I used to make a frito chili pie with them. Now, you give us stale oyster crackers. Won't order chili anymore. Added a few more stars. Yesterday would have been 5 stars, the Thanksgiving turkey sandwich is really good, but $3.29 for a regular fry, you should get more fries. Posting a picture. Definitely not worth the money. Had a small meal before starting my day at 2 in the morning, 10 hours go by and I still hadn't eaten anything to keep me going. by 1 pm, I felt my guts rip into pieces, trying to scrape up any caloric intake it could find. still quite a trip away from home, I made a rocky drive to the closest thing I can eat.

The subs are delicious and big, loaded with delicatessen level meat. They also have a hot sauce bar to take your sub to the next level. Eating here once will make you swear never eat at a chain competitor again. Im obsessed with this place for a sandwich. I've heard meatball subs leave a little to be desired, but you cannot go wrong with the engineer or the brisket. This is not one of those sub places where you only get a slice or two of meat either.
