Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Wichita

I’m a door dasher. This place was doing really well for a few months. But this past month or so, I’ve had messed up orders from them, waiting 10+ minutes for orders. Staff on night shift is horrible, always on their phones, joking around and none of them look older than 16. Morning shift workers are really slow. Half the time, when I have to ask for an order more than once it’s just sitting on their counter and they haven’t brought it out to me when they know that’s what I’m waiting on. Wait time are way too high, even for small orders that are just one or two smoothies. Any time after 3 or 4 the tables have straw wrappers and crumbs all over them. They had 2 girls with the colored hair a while back that were really nice, always greeted me and always either had the order all ready to grab and go by the time I got there or made sure I got it with in 5 minutes of waiting. Not sure where they went but the store has gone downhill since they left. These past few days I’ve had to pick up orders from them have made me not want to accept orders from this store anymore. Would be an awesome addition to the area if they could pull it together. A couple of times no banana was added to my smoothie, today they were out of fruit for a side again, and there is absolutely noway they didn’t put a green banana in my smoothie just now, unfortunately I asked for extra too. Couple of weeks ago I went through the drive thru got a smoothie and despite my email saying no purchase was necessary to get a “no tricks, just treat” card; I was told those cards are saved for customers who buy food not just smoothies. Often there isn’t silverware in the bag for salads. Sometimes I get 1 dressing cup for salads other times I get 2. I finally asked how many are suppose to come with the salad and both people didn’t know; the answer should be 2, 2 are needed. Would have given 1 star based on my recent experiences, however, I didn’t, since sometimes I get lucky and get all the ingredients I paid for and glimmers of decent...

I went inside to make sure my order was accurate, (was ordering for myself and some picky eaters). I asked for 2 Sunshine Smoothie 2 times and she kept "correcting me" saying I meant Sunrise.. Sunset.. no. I'd like the one I asked for please.. "we don't have anything like that"... I said just previously bought one the day before so, I was NOT mistaken. And I pulled up the menu. They got mine and my ppls orders but forgot the edicle straws.. at first they supposedly only had 1 kind and it was not lime.. so, yet again, I just pointed behind her to the jar of the different colored flavored straws and she quickly added them to the two huge bags I was carrying. Like the place; just seems a little more training might be a good idea. It's quite frustrating and pricey to have to argue about everything in your order when you have less than 30...
