Crumbl — Restaurant in Wichita

We went because we saw some YouTube videos about this place. Going in it was very small. Only a kitchen, and a place for a register to place an order. It smelled nice like the fake buttery smell at the pretzel place in the mall. The girls working the counter couldn't have been very old, high school ages I'm assuming so the customer service aspect is not applicable due to lack of experience! We got the chocolate chunk cookies, butter cake cookies, and the fudge pretzel kind not sure what they're called. The butter cakes were melted and oozed all over and outside the bottom of the box, they were warmed before putting them in the box I would say those should be left cold or room temp to avoid this. They tasted the best out of the three despite the messiness! The chocolate chunk cookie is not sweet, it doesn't really have any flavor but it is filled with chocolate chunks. Because they're semisweet it makes for an unsweetened cookie, then sea salt is added on top! These were definitely not the favorite cookie for us we were disappointed. The fudge pretzel cookie was like the chocolate chunk, not sweet just chocolate taste. This cookie did have the buttery flavor that the cake one had but ultimately just tasted like a textured chocolate chunk. The icing tasted almost exactly like the cookie itself so there was no change in flavor, the pretzels were off putting to the cookie. I'm not sure why they add so much salty additives to them and avoid sweetness. Seems like an anti cookie establishment lol they were cooked well just did not taste great like expected we probably won't be back. We paid $20 before tax for the six cookies, to give you an idea of pricing. We tried insomnia cookies a couple days ago and they have the same prices but also had cheaper options for non specialty items, and they tasted really great in comparison they were not even close honestly. Nonetheless like stated above I do recommend the butter cake item, it's tasty!! Apart from that it definitely depends on your sweet preference whether or not you will enjoy...

if you want to wait 30 minutes after ordering to be told one of the six cookies you ordered is “out” then this is the place for you!

Poor Jacob was running around helping everyone in the kitchen and also taking orders, while some other female employee I didn’t get the name of was very rude and couldn’t comprehend what a “refund” is.

Management needs to do better with hiring and shifts, as overheard by the female employee very loudly complaining about how they schedule so many people earlier in the day but never enough for later shifts.

Will be back maybe when galaxy brownie flavor returns, hopefully by then they’ll learn to make more cookies as their current stock is running low, instead of 30 minutes after the...

I usually am a fan of Crumbl, I purchase cookies at least once/month, so I was a little surprised and upset with how my last visit went. I used a gift card I received for Mother's Day to purchase cookies this time. When I arrived, no one greeted me or even looked at me. I stood there and proceeded to wait anyways. A couple minutes later she walks toward me with my order, or so I assumed, as she didn't say my name. The cookies looked fine, so I left. Upon trying the confetti cake one, I bit down on a piece of hair. I pulled a long hair out of my mouth... Appetite lost. I couldn't eat the rest. I'm very disappointed I wasted my gift card on these disappointing...
