I walked into this location and approached the counter to place my order. I was greeted by a younger female store employee who had been wiping down the counters and picking up pieces of food that had fallen out of the food warming containers. I requested she wash her hands before beginning my order. The employee sink is located directly behind the food prep area and in front of the customer’s. So, I was able to visually witness her washing her hands. I waited for her to dispense hand soap, but she never did. She pretended to wash her hands, but only used water and failed to use any soap. I then requested to speak with a manager and explained the situation. To my extremely unpleasant surprise, the response I got was annoyance coupled with a dismissive attitude about the risk of food-borne illness caused by cross contamination from failure of HIS EMPLOYEES to wash their hands. I am now sending complaints to the panda express corporate office along with the panda express customer service department and requesting a visit from the county health department for additional training and direction regarding the importance of protecting the public from potential sickness caused by failure to practice safety procedures. After witnessing this woman not using ANY hand soap to wash her hands; it became very clear that she may have also visited the restroom and returned to the food prep area without washing her hands, either. I made the decision at that moment to no longer dine at this location and follow up with the necessary steps to make sure that this issue does not continue and cause unsuspecting customers and their children to...
Read moreI went to this location last night for dinner with my wife. There were around 8 employees working at the time, and when we walked in nobody greeted us. There was a vibe that we were inconveniencing them by coming and buying dinner there. We showed up shortly after 8, and they don’t close until 10. And it seemed like they were trying to have an early close or something. Everyone that was there was more focused on getting the restaurant closed up, rather than the customers trying to buy a product. While we were trying to look at the entree options, one of the employees was pulling the glass down in front of us, talking about different customers that had given her attitude throughout the day. We stood at the spot in front of the rice for around 10 minutes before someone asked us if we wanted to order. There were multiple entree options that were empty. So we asked for what they had. I asked for hot mustard with my meal (I ordered the largest meal they sell, the 3 entree one) and they only gave me a singular sauce packet. There was no upselling, nobody asked if we wanted drinks or crab rangoons/egg rolls. When we got home and took our food out of the bag, my wife’s box was covered in sauce because they were so rushed plating our food to get us out the door. It’s disappointing because we went there for the convenience of not having to cook, and it was anything...
Read moreI ordered Panda Express' plate item through UberEats. the menu item allows your to pick two entrees and two sides. My order was chow mein, chicken fried rice, orange chicken, and one other type of chicken that I can't recall. I think it was kao pao.
When I went to pick up my order, I got in and out in less than 5 minutes and nothing was wrong with the order itself. In fact, everything except the rice looked amazing.
Unfortunately it didn't taste anywhere near as good as it looked.
The chicken fried rice was bland and tasted like plain rice with a little butter. The chow mein shared the same issue. It was both bland and boring. Both types of chicken had somewhat strong flavoring and I was able to mix everything together and create an okay stir fry. It was about what I'd expect from a beginner home-cook. Therein lies the issue. I'm not expecting a gourmet experience from fast food, but I am expecting something that tastes better than bad home cooking and Panda Express is nowhere near that mark.
Only dine here if you need something fast and you don't want to wait, otherwise look elsewhere. Panda Express is nothing special and can be considered just okay at the...
