I was at this location last night, just dropping in to get a turtle sundae. As I walked in I recognized "Freddy" and some of his family sitting at a table. I can't tell you how many times I have talked with him and one of his sons at this location. So in walks an older couple and the man orders a BLT, he was somewhat loud, and as soon as he ordered this one of Freddy's sons was watching. He heard an item being ordered that is not on the menu. Now about this time I was picking up my order to go and as I was walking out I saw that Freddy's son was out of his chair and moving to help out with this order. I don't know the outcome, I really should have stayed, but the level of involvement from Freddy's son was what you don't see anymore. This is truly a "Family" business and this is part of the reason I keep coming back to Freddy's to eat. With any customer service business, you will always have people that complain about various things due to the fact you can never please everyone all the time. But, Freddy's tries to give you great customer service, you need to make sure you do your part in being a great customer to the people that want to help you. It is a two way street here, and one party does not do all the work. I am not an employee of Freddy's and I don't work for them. I just want to say thank you to Freddy and his family for keeping the values that make this county great alive at their restaurants, and I hope that this guy that ordered a BLT got one, and I hope it was the best one he has...

So i ordered a custom burger .. only lettuce and mayo and they delivered a great burger. Really good taste. Only i had to take the cheese off myself. Sigh. [Phosphate limitation, kidney pt]. I had reminded them a to-go order should have napkins. And they still forgot. This has been a persistent problem. The Freddys on Rock road is clean, well lit and service isnt too bad. I hardly waited. Other customers waiting on their order indicated they hadnt waited toooo long. Some seemed impatient from waiting on small orders. My custom burger seemed to take forever and they didnt call my number as they put it up? And as i noted earlier... the bag didnt have napkins. Sigh. I like Freddys food. Its my new go to burger place. But sometimes the help SEEMS to have trouble doing anything that isnt exactly like what they always do. They are always polite and friendly. Yes, Im griping. But you should still go to Freddys... and be firm, patient, friendly and kind. So they can still be told..." dont forget the napkins in the...
