First of all, If I could give zero stars I would. The level of sheer horror my family and I experienced during my first visit to Fuzzy’s is completely inexcusable. We got our food in a reasonable time, however after about a minute into my mother eating her salad, she discovered a lengthy strand of human hair in the middle of the salad. We are so lucky she found it before potentially choking on it. This is where our ordeal began. My dad took the salad back to the counter, and was offered a half assed I’m sorry, and was given a replacement salad. At this point, no manager has come by to apologize and there was no offer to refund the salad or any gesture of good will to remedy this horrifically disgusting situation. One of the kitchen employees brought a replacement salad to the table, offered an insincere and rushed I’m sorry and then tried to run off. I had to request a manager since they had no intention of apologizing and remedying this situation. The first manager we spoke to offered an insincere and rushed I’m sorry and said he’d go refund the salad. While looking next at the replacement salad we discovered the salad was in two bowls. The outer bowl was incredibly dirty and had all sorts of splotches and white marks on it. I had wondered if that was the bowl the human hair had come in. And then we discovered that the inside of the bowl with the salad was dirty as well. We next had a different manager named Christine who gave an I’m sorry, after saying “I hear you found a little friend in your salad”, and tried to claim that our clearly dirty salad bowls were clean. This completely grossed me out, like she was trying to say that we had found like a bug or something alive inside the salad. She spent her time at our booth joking about the situation, said that maybe in the future the employees might start wearing hair nets in addition to hats, explained that she’d only refund the salad, never offered anything beyond that as a sign of goodwill so that we would come back again and hope to receive no hair in our food. She simply said, I hope you come back, I’m sorry, I feel like I’ve said I’m sorry ten times already. Even if they never offered any type of refund, it would have been nice to have received one sincere apology and maybe a sign of embarrassment for such a disgusting event to occur in what is a newly opened Fuzzy’s Taco Shop for Wichita. I was further dismayed and horrified when I looked at the kitchen area as we were leaving and I see three different employees who are actively working with the food had no hats or head covering whatsoever. It was clear then how an errant hair found its way into my mother’s salad. The employees also overall were a depressing bunch and offered nothing in the realm of even subpar customer service, this includes the two supposed managers who were not interested in making this situation right with us. I also saw every employee had their cellphone in plain view in their back pockets as if they could immediately start playing on their phones inside the restaurant if they wanted to. We were not treated as valued customers, and I walked out feeling dejected and nauseated by the whole situation. I was so excited to come here since I heard the food was really good. I’ve literally never went to a restaurant and found hair in my food. Time to clean house, and it should start at the top with managers who aren’t apologetic, aren’t interested in offering any type of positive customer service, and who think finding hair in your food is a...

My first (probably only) visit to Fuzzy’s, I had heard all the rave reviews and read the online menu info. Being a Keto (low carb) eater I had to research what was a good choice for me on a dinner date with friends. I had been recommended the shredded chicken by a co-worker, but after researching noticed the salads had WAY more carbs then I wanted. Therefore I opted for 3 shredded chicken tacos w/no shell (no tomato), I suggested from the cashier that they put them into a bowl for me. She was a bit puzzled but honored my request. I was concerned what my order would be, so took my number and waited off side of the food line area.

The manager? Someone in charge? (long haired bigger bottomed lady) quickly informed me I did not need to wait close-by as my buzzer would go off so I would know when my food was ready, she then proceeded to take the buzzer from my hands place it on a stack of buzzers and show me how it worked. (Okay I was next to a table/yellow wall leaning and waiting, not blocking or disturbing anyone’s work zone. I am a grown woman who’s gone out to eat numerous times and am well aware of how a buzzer works. In fact I was in food service for 20yrs, I am NOT stupid, but suddenly I was made to feel that way).

Tacos came out of window from BOH, buzzers goes off another young lady takes buzzer and tried to give me my food. However before doing that the first girl has to put three separate fork s into each of the three bowls of tacos on the tray. Problem - the bowls are tiny with little food inside of them, therefore sticking forks into this bare amount of light weighted food was not a good idea (maybe just lay them on the tray? Better idea!). Also trying to carry/balance these forks that were barely inserted would cause a spill of food from a flip of the forks. Food itself looked cute in bowls but I had three little salsa bowls versus the one bowl I had originally requested. I then asked for a bigger bowl, was handed a paper burrito bowl. I immediately took the forks out of bowls, as I clearly do not need three forks and went to my table. I proceeded to dump the tacos into the one bowl, noticing they had made the tacos in the bowls UPSIDE-DOWN!?? Therefore the mayo based sauce was stuff to the bowl -UGH! Of course I did not get a spoon to scrape out the sauce and cheeses shreds stuff to the bottom of the bowl. -Insert aggravation here- I go to other Mexican restaurants and order tacos in a bowl, or taco salad no shell all the time and never had a problem. This isn’t a “difficult” request, odd maybe, but not challenging.

Bottom line – food tasted good for being upside down and dry, but for $2.60 per taco, $8.35 total, no salsa or sauce for tacos and poor customer service, I will not go back here. This was not a happy dining experience. I will say everyone else ordered right off menu and their food looked good, so as long as you don’t tweak an order you’ll...

Sorry, I wanted desperately to love Fuzzy's Taco Shop. It syarted with inadequate parking. We got there at 4:30 FYI....then every single part of our order was wrong. It was so frustrating. We also had to stake out a table to sit at. We had two adults and two children...we waited close to a table where they were about done eating then stood by it while we waited for someone to clean it. Two of our drinks were wrong, they were busy enough that we didn't want to wait in line to get them corrected. Then came our order. Something on everyone's order was wrong. And mine was so salty that I couldn't eat my mahi mahi taco...who was supposed to be fried and wasn't. Maybe it would have been even saltier if it was fried. It was margarita day. Mine was wrong on two counts. I asked for frozen and blood orange. It was neither. My granddaughter's beans were super salty, too. To the point the she couldn't eat them. The left onions on, we ordered no onions. We ordered no cheese for my grandson and they doubled the cheese. My daughter's drink was wrong and they made her dish extra spicy where we didn't order it to be anything other than normal. It was an expensive learning experience. We won't be back. On the positive side, the staff was really friendly and very quick to wipe down tables. It was way too loud in there for any meaningful conversation. The loudness does not add anything pleasant to...

Fuzzy's cranks out some very tasty tacos. Some would call them Americanized, but what they do is put a modernized twist on old school classics. The Carnitas is a prime example of an updated version of a Mexican classic. The meat was perfectly seasoned, moist and tender, their recipe is on point. The soft corn tortilla was warm and held together from first bite to last. The garlic sauce is a nice spin, an aioli rather than a crema, packing on another layer of flavor. The lettuce was fresh and veggie crisp, I got the cilantro notes along with the slightly melted cheddar - c'mon, who doesn't like cheddar on a taco? The tomato helped balance things out and putting a little zest in the flavor profile was the feta cheese, another spin from traditional, such as using a Queso or Cotija cheese. With all the taco dressings being the same - which actually allowed me to better evaluate the main ingredients - the meats were all very well seasoned, nice in portion and were indeed the stars of each taco. The shredded brisket measures up to a good Barbacoa, The shredded chicken was super tender and juicy, the ground beef was eye-opening good exceeding expectation and my favorite of the bunch, the Grilled Mahi were bites I savored, saving the best for last.

🎶"I just want to celebrate"🎶 If there's any holiday I love more that Christmas, it's National Taco Day! Today at Fuzzy's Taco Shop, they had $1.50 tacos. Which with tax, cost four dollars and some change for three of them. Taco Bell can't beat that price. Lol. Anyways, I ordered a Steak, Shredded Chicken, and Shrimp Tempa tacos. I'll admit two out of three of them were really good. I didn't quite enjoy the Steak Taco because the meat was chewy. But the Shrimp Tempura one was by far the best. The shrimp had that right amount of crunch. I understand why normally it cost way more than the rest of the tacos on the menu. But today, they all are $1.50. The Shredded Chicken one was actually really good and a close 2nd place. The chicken wansn't dry, or too moist. Perfectly cooked in my opinion. I'll be honest, I really wish I would have gotten the Shredded Brisket Taco instead of the Steak Taco. That was my mistake.
