I had bought a few dresses online for my uncles wedding and I was afraid they would not arrive on time so I went to my local mall and went to Windsor. I had bought a black mini dress with rhinestones on it. (I bought this as a back up dress) A week or so went by and my other options have arrived in the mail. So I go back to my local mall and try to return the $80 dress that still had attached tags and my receipt. The emotionless manager stated the return policy to me. I found her attitude sort of rude. She wasn’t listening to what I was saying. She told me the dress I was trying to return was a final sale item and should’ve had a green attached tag. When I was in there purchasing the dress there was no green attached tag, she wasn’t listening to what I was saying THERE WAS NO GREEN ATTACHED TAG WHEN I BOUGHT IT. That as a customer, is not my fault. She just kept repeating herself. When I was making the initial purchase Not once was I told about the return policy and it’s not posted ANYWHERE in the store. And nobody vocally stated the return policy while I was making the purchase in store. On the Windsor receipt it says they want to make you happy and as a customer I am not very happy because I spent $80 on a dress because I was trying to be prepared for my uncles wedding. If their return policy was posted somewhere in the store (so you know what it is before you make a purchase) or they told me before I inserted my card I would not have purchased that dress and I’m very upset they will not refund my money. The dress has attached tags and I bought it as a back up dress just in case the ones I ordered did not arrive and it hasn’t been worn. I see no reason that I can’t return this dress. I am very upset that they are not accommodating to this at all. This was around 7:10pm Saturday October 26th at the East mall. I spoke with the manager but didn’t catch her name. This is not okay and needs to be addressed. Oh she also had the nerve to tell me “you can try to sell it online somewhere”. No ma’am, you can take the dress back that I no longer need for anything, return my money like GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE WOULD DO (LIKE AT ANY OTHER STORE) and how about you guys resale the dress not me as the customer?!. I’m very disappointed no one told me there return policy (until I tried returning it..) wish I was told before hand. This is so wrong...
Read moreWe were prom dress shopping and had a dress reserved for us by name last weekend. This was handled by the manager who took our name down. They said we could come this weekend to pick it up.
When we showed up to purchase the dress, the lady at the front didn’t even ask for our name, just the color of the dress. We were told the dress was gone. They didn’t even ask our name. Just what color the dress was. How does this happen? If they took down our name and had the dress reserved for us, how is it possible aside from carelessness for them to sell it to someone else when the manager told us we would be able to come pick it up today?
As an update. We were fortunately able to find another dress and they price matched the other one. Still an upsetting experience and one that easily could have...
