Tacos Uruapan Food Truck — Restaurant in Wichita

Zero stars if I could. This food truck is just terrible. I ordered three items and received only two. A steak burrito meal, and a steak quesadilla, and a steak huaraches. I paid $24 took my stuff home and I only got two orders. I called them and they claimed I only ordered two meals. The steak burrito is stuffed full of rice and beans with hardly any steak to be seen or tasted and the burrito shell was very chewy; I can taste salt with no other seasoning of any kind. The steak quesadilla was dry with a tough shell and no flavor and no seasoning. Their orange hot sauce was very hot with no flavor. The green hot sauce was green with no flavor and less hot. I see zero reason to go back here or recommend them to anyone. The lady at the food truck needs to learn better communication skills! There is no reason other then sheer negligence to cook food this terrible. As far as I'm concerned this place is just a cash grab and not worthy of serving anyone at all. To the owners of this place you should feel ashamed. Do not contact me and keep your comments to yourself. I'm never coming back. IF it was free I would throw it away. Your salsa is actually hot sauce. We don't want hot sauce we want salsa. Salsa with a tomato base that has flavor and maybe some onions and cilantro. Ricardo's has good mild salsa with cilantro and is way better then this place. In fact just go to Ricardo's they are family owned and actually try to be consistent. Ricardo's isn't perfect but it's head and shoulders above this food truck! Synopsis: If you have not tried it yet, DO IT! There are mild subtleties that I appreciate in Mexican fast food and Tacos Uruapan is checking all the boxes. ✅✅✅✅✅ The sauce🌶️ - I'm a saucey girl and I appreciate PLENTY of salsa & robust flavors in it. Their red sauce is bold and their green sauce is avacado salsa. 10/10 & they're generous with it so 12/10. Pick Up Option📱 - They offer a pick up option so, you're not waiting in the heat of an asphalt parking lot. It's always been ready before ETA. 10/10. The Onions🧅 - They offer sauteed onions with their tacos AND raw onion. 🧡 Finally, THE BIRRIA 🌮- I don't even like birria (insane, I know) but I LOVE Uruapan's, fr! I’ve driven by this many times and decided to drop in and check it out about 6 months later lol. I’m skeptical when it comes to trying new places but I’m glad I finally made the plunge! The tacos were pretty darn good and they didn’t speak any English, so brush up on your Spanish lol. I tried four different tacos: Lengua Birria Barbacoa Carne asada The top three were all delicious and the carne asada was so so. Carne asada isn’t usually on top of my list when it comes to tacos but I wanted to try it anyways. The wife even approves of their tacos, so that’s a good sign 🪧 😂.
