"Terrible Experience at This Food Truck"

I recently visited this food truck, hoping for a quick, tasty meal, but it was a complete disappointment.

Food Quality & Hygiene: The food was bland and tasted as if it had been cooked in re-used oil, leaving an unpleasant aftertaste. The hygiene standards were shocking—tables were surrounded by trash, and cleanliness was clearly not a priority.

Service & Misinformation: The service was unbelievably slow. Despite asking the front desk about wait times, they gave me inaccurate information multiple times. I ended up waiting way longer than promised. The staff seemed disorganized and uninterested in helping customers.

Ambience & Owner’s Attitude: The tables were a mess, with garbage littered around, making it a very unwelcoming place to eat. To top it off, the owner was rude and only seemed interested in charging extra at every turn rather than ensuring a good customer experience.

Lokal Eatz is hands down the best Indian food truck in Wichita! The Chicken Noodles are a flavor explosion, perfectly spiced and cooked to perfection. The Idli is soft and fluffy, a true comfort fo od that pairs beautifully with their chutneys. The Ghee Karam Dosa is a crispy delight, with a rich ghee flavor and just the right amount of spice. And don’t even get me started on the Fried Rice – it’s absolutely divine, with a perfect balance of flavors and textures.

I had an absolutely horrible experience with the food from this truck. The Egg noodles were not fresh at all, and I got severe stomach issues after eating them. It didn’t stop there. Two days later, I tried the Idli, which was a complete disaster. They were so hard and clearly made with spoiled batter. The peanut chutney was also spoiled. As if that wasn’t enough, I ordered a ghee karam Dosa, and I feel it was obvious the batter had been over-fermented for days. This truck is massively overrated and serves disgusting, inedible food.
