My mom, daughter, and I ate here the first week of July 2023. I had the chicken fried steak and loved it!

I have zero complaints about the taste of the food or the portion size.

The service is terrible. We came the night before to eat but stood in the lobby for over 20 minutes with no one to seat us.

We decided to leave and come back the next day for lunch.

Again, the service was terrible.

We stood in the lobby for 15-20 minutes before anyone seated us, and after we got our food, we sat in the booth for 1 hour before the waitress came back.

I finally stood next to our booth to get the attention of another waitress so she could go in the back of the restaurant to get our waitress.

The main reason for our visit was to try their pies. We didn’t want a whole pie, but each of us wanted to try a slice of pie. We saw the multiple variety of pies they offer in the case in the lobby.

I asked the waitress what kind of pies were available, and she mentioned our favorite: coconut cream. We each ordered a slice of coconut cream pie.

When she returned to the table about 15 minutes later, she said they were out of coconut cream pie.

Noticing all of the pies in the case in the lobby, I asked if they had one in there. She said, “No, we’re all out.”

I asked the person at the cash register as well, but she said they were out. Yet, they appeared to have some in the refrigerated case in the lobby.

If I ever have the opportunity to go back, I would like to try some other items on their menu, but I would only go back if I have 2 or 3 hours to kill because the service...

This was our 3rd visit. The 1st 2 visits were phenomenal, but tonight was a disaster. It took us 25 mins from the time we were seated at 7:35 for anyone to come to take our drink order. The person who took our drink order wasn't the waitress. When the waitress finally brought us our drinks, she put them on the table and proceeded to walk away. I kindly stopped her and told her we were ready to order. She returned to the table 15 minutes after the order was placed to inform me they were out of tilapia, so I had to change my order. It took us 1 hour, from the time we sat down, to receive our food. She then brought us the pie menu around 8:25 and never returned until she place our food on the table at 8:35. She finally returned to take our pie order at 8:50. She returned with our pies at 8:55. She picked up some plates and was going to leave the ticket at 9:00, but she didn't have it. When she came back at 9:04, she still didn't have the correct ticket. The ticket she had was the original one that was printed at 8:10 and it was crumpled up and mixed in her little notebook somewhere. At 9:05, I decided to walk to the front counter to wait on the ticket. As I was approaching the counter, she came out of the kitchen saying she has our ticket, but then handed the original ticket to the counter lady and asked her to fix it. I was finally able to pay at 9:10 and leave. The entire time we were there, she NEVER checked on us for refills or anything else. She clearly was NOT...

When I first sat to write this review, I was going to leave one star, as they sold me 50% of a no sugar added chocolate pie at 65%. I really can't believe I let them sell me a pie unseen, but then I put some more thought into the review. First, it really wasn't their fault that I didn't look at it before I bought it. Second, it's a testament to how great it tastes that I was willing to buy it without seeing it. Third, this isn't the only time I've been here, and the last time I was here, I had a stellar waitress. The food, except for the mashed potatoes, were to die for. Fourth, even though they screwed me on this, I'm still planning on returning probably Friday of next week for their buffet. If you add all of this together, I think three stars is fair. This is an excellent dishonest restaurant. I highly recommend going here, but you shouldn't believe a word they say.

I was craving the no sugar added chocolate pies, so I went back to spears. This time I had a different waitress, if you can call her that. Horrible service. I ended up trying their curbside parking family meals. They were delicious except for the mashed potatoes. I wasn't allowed to eat them there, but considering how horrible the waitress was this time, I was grateful for having my fridge close.
