Overall, this place needs an Update... but the fact that the Building says "Quality Suites" & Google says "Coratel Plus Suites" makes me Believe that they're in Transition. I just Hope for Future stays to have Improved Quality... The Hotel itself seems Older, & the Skylight Roof in the Atrium was Leaking when I arrived during a Rainstorm. Front Desk service was Great though, Friendly & Acomidating. 🙃 Room 208 was very Spacious & Clean. The Carpeting was only worn along the Edge under the Window, & the Window itself needs a New Screen. The Bed was Super comfy, NO bugs, & Sheets were Clean. The Bathroom could definitely use a New Toilet, but if you held the Handle long enough, it Flushed...& I could tell they Cleaned it just the same as the rest of the Bathroom.
Room 208 also needs a New Deadbolt on the door, & being a Single female traveler...I chose to move a chair there, as well as the Coffee table in front of the Joining room door. I had NO issues, & overall the Hotel felt Safe. The Pool was under construction outside, but it's November so I didn't care about that.
My room door faced the Open Atrium (as Most do), looking over the Breakfast nook & toward the Front door... I assumed this meant Noise for my stay, especially after a Large family checked in... but overall it was Actually Quiet & I didn't even hear the Breakfast people. Speaking of Breakfast, it was pretty Lame... they do have a Pancake Machine, some Fresh Apples, & Granola Bars... but the Coffee & Juice both dispense from similar Machines, & Neither is that good. I would suggest going Elsewhere for a Quality Breakfast (this being the case in most places, ever since Covid it seems). May I suggest "The Easy Egg" (just around the corner). Parking was actually ample, even after I was told the Hotel was booked Full...I drove in at 8 pm., & 3 am. & Never had a problem finding the Same safe spot near the overhead lot Lights. Parking lot was Well lit, & seemed Safe to park just about anywhere.

See the response by the owner, which is the same response I received in my email request - "We're sorry you had a terrible experience and that we are still going to charge you for nights you didn't stay - but we hope you'll stay again". This is terrible customer service and terrible ownership. Lowering my review to a 1 star because I absolutely would not stay there again. I wish I had read reviews on Google before booking because I see I'm not the only one with a bad experience.
I would HIGHLY caution you against staying here as we had Black Mold in our room and the hotel refused to grant a refund due to their refund policy. I understand if I choose to cancel for no reason, I should pay for the night. However, when its from a lack of cleanliness and obvious black mold all in the bathroom, I expect to be refunded my money as the service was not as advertised.
It is possible the vent was just extremely dirty, but it was also all over the bathroom ceiling and even on a spot in the main room. I am not willing to risk the health hazards for my wife and young child and we immediately checked out after discovering the issue.
