Taqueria La Autentica — Restaurant in Wichita

For lunch today I was really craving my favorite food, tacos! That's what lead me to Taqueria La Authentica. I ended up ordering three street tacos because I really wasn't that hungry. I decided on steak, pork, and shredded chicken as my three options. My favorite was the pork by far, it was juicy and had a great flavor to it. Probably one of the best tacos I've ever eaten. The chicken came in second place of the three I ordered. It was slightly dry, but still tasted decent especially with fresh squeezed lime drizzled on top. The steak was my least favorite. It was even dryer than the chicken, and I'm constantly reminded why I don't really like steak tacos. I can never find one that is perfection. We literally just sat down to eat a burrito after ordering the food to go, my boyfriend said "Can we give this 8 stars?" One bite in and he was hooked. The dude working and the other guy at the register were extremely friendly, open and seemed very excited about their business! My boyfriend said that was probably the best burrito he ever had, everything about it was great. The sauce wasn't so hot that it killed the flavor of the burrito and he said "It's like your best homeboy cooked you up a bomb burrito. TASTY"

Listen, when there’s a Mexican restaurant adjacent to a Mexican deli/grocery store, you know the food is going to be fire. The food at this place does not disappoint!
