Stopped by around 9:30 AM on a Saturday to pick up an app-ordered breakfast and eat in. Thus began a somewhat tolerable experience that was saved by OK enough food. Overall, the crew was dazed and confused (even with a hint of attitude), and might have just woken up. The only competent member was the one who figured out my order.
When I first arrived, all of the doors were still locked, despite legally must be unlocked during business hours, as the dining room was supposed to already be open from half an hour before. I proceeded to the drive-through and indicated to pick up, but whoever responded couldn't find the order. I drove forward to the window and showed the app. The one competent member figured out it was an order they'd just made. That, despite it being very early and only one other car in their lot (i.e., not many other dine-in orders going on). But, with the order found, I was told it was alright to come inside.
I parked, then waited by a door. A different crew member came out to unlock, then simply stood there in silence. No "good morning, you can come in," or "hi, how are you?" Absolutely no smile. I inquired again to confirm coming in and the individual glared. NOTE: that person also didn't unlock the other entrances (another customer came knocking later).
I requested ketchup and mayonnaise, but mayonnaise wasn't available. Sure, that could happen sometimes, but it was another downer adding to the already joyless event. I went on to finish my maple bacon chicken crossaint (with egg) meal. It was tasty, and saved this from being a...
Read moreTonight was really disappointing and off putting - my son really wanted to try the krabby patty meal and as we waited in the drive thru line we played the music and laughed about how cool it was that there was a krabby patty meal After 15 minutes at the speaker without any greeting or response we noticed some people at the drive thru window who appeared quite upset - they actually got out and walked inside - I was also tired of the oddly long wait - went inside - I did NOT like how the manager was talking to these customers - I knew they had been waiting a long time and she just seemed to be annoyed that they had anything to say about it - not once did I hear her apologize or even speak to them with respect - instead I was reminded of an insolent teenager throwing a fit and playing the victim - my son saw all this and even he was like yeah I think we should go somewhere else... I HATE that she ruined something he was excited about - THAT is why I took the time to write this review. I also stopped and talked with the upset couple and they showed me their receipt so we could be specific on this post about date/time/people involved - manager could definitely stand to do some work on herself! YOU are not the victim when...
Read moreI normally never leave reviews on fast food places, nor do I like to be a “Karen” but everytime I visit this Wendy’s on Seneca st in Wichita Kansas, my fries are gummy and cold and I’m lucky if I ever get them “hot and crispy” as advertised. I used to work for Wendy’s in Scott city Kansas and my manager was always adamant about not keeping fries past holding time. You’d think they would care about the quality of food they’re sending out to customers. I don’t want to eat cold soggy fries. I had to go back and have them remade but they tasted like they were just the same batch thrown into the fryer for 5 seconds. Also ordered the honey hot chicken sandwich for it to be homestyle chicken instead of the spicy and it was so dry. Every visit that I have at this location, there’s an issue and I never speak up. I just wish they would care about what they’re sending out and I’d rather wait 5mins pulled forward for fresh food. I love Wendy’s it’s my favorite, I just hope this location will work on...
