It’s a cute place when you’re craving a treat. The strawberry cheesecake lacks much strawberry flavor, the citrus cake lacks citrus flavor. It felt like they got the texture and richness down perfectly but flavors weren’t quite developed EDIT: see the owners response below. Otherwise the cheesecake is good, and I realize that the recipe would be a lighter touch of citrus. I won’t be back in town anytime soon during business hours but please give this local business a try it is awfully cute and everything tastes good. I believe as a group we tried Peanut butter cookie: 5/5 soft and chewy Chocolate chip cookies: 5/5 soft chewy and sweet Cheesecake: 4/5 from a picky person so an average 5 Keylime pie/cheesecake?: 5/5 very rich Citrus cake: a great consistency it had good small crumbs and was bouncy. I think I’ve died and gone to heaven! While small this place packs a huge punch. The building is tiny and adorable, but oh my goodness the amazing smell when you open the door had me sold I was in the right spot before I even bought anything. We had ate lunch a few blocks away and decide to take a walk around town so we could explore some streets we’d never been on even though we’ve been to Wickenburg tons of times. They have a great outside seating area with umbrellas for those sunny days. Since we’d ate so much lunch I unfortunately couldn’t try the coffee, but am counting down the days until we come back. This trip I opted for a snickerdoodle cookie and a raspberry almond type cupcake. Not only was it adorable it was the greatest thing I have ever eaten. I am so mad at myself I only bought one. Wife has severe corn sensitivies so bakery's are challenging to say the least. Corn is in everything from powdered sugar to baking powder and then more! We have a substantial lifetime milestone coming up and wanted to celebrate with some delightful baked items. Wife ordered macarons and explained the allergy. We got the macarons today and they are the BOMB! We watch way too many baking shows and immediately started looking at things like the foot of macarons, looking for nipples and on and on. Bottom line the macarons were perfect. I'm so glad Wickenburg has a bakery like Buttermilk &Honey Bakeshop where you can order goods and not have to run to Surprise.
