My husband and i travel for work and full time in our 36ft. Solitude, so we are very familiar with how parks are suppose to be ran. Therefore, Aztec Village has many pros and cons. The cons: We had reserved our spot 3 months in advance, when we arrived our spot was taken so we pulled into a open one that we could find. They then had us move to a spot where there was absolutely no space for the neighbor behind us to even let out his awning or for us in general to be able to enjoy our stay. Then 2 weeks later we got moved to a different rv spot on the other side of the park near the cabins, which was better. After us staying there 2 months, they then had us move to a spot right next to the previous one. Once we got settled again it was a little bit bigger but still does not help the fact we had to move 4 separate times when we had a reservation prier to us arriving months before. Also another con is when we originally called we were told the price was $500 a month (not including utilities) when we got our first monthly payment it was around $741 which was still not including the utilities. Therefore, our last month there we got our bill and the monthly rate had went up again, WITHOUT ANY NOTICE of it raising. Also, there are stray cats roaming everywhere in the park. They like to get on your car, in your buggy, and poop everywhere so be prepared for that. Oh and if they say they will “call you back” or “help you in anyway” they are lying they never call back.

The pros: Aztec village is in a wonderful location, walking distance from downtown Wickenburg. The neighbors there that are full time residents are all super sweet and friendly. Ms Mary use to work in the office at Aztec and she was the absolute sweetest lady ever and would do anything to make things right and help you in anyway she can! Now for the others, bless...

Will update my review at the end of my stay, however my partner and I have been extremely satisfied!

Pros: right off the 60, walking distance to downtown, the park backs directly onto a delicious local steakhouse (Cowboy Cookin), VERY quiet regarding loud neighbors, plenty of shade, large management presence which is huge (thank you for being present and aware of your property), maintained landscaping, mulberry trees! The laundry room is conveniently located with a downloaded app to pay, watch, and add time to your laundry (Kudos for making this upgrade when you did, this is SO much better than carrying around quarters like I anticipated). The managers are currently making changes to Things I would otherwise list as a con such fixing the ruts in the drive areas. It seems like they may also evaluating lot sizes, but it’s possible they’ve been intentional on where they’re placing visitors. (Spots can be tight). There’s a HUGE horse property the park backs on to which offers precious views of the new baby horses. Often times you can stand and watch for 10-15 minutes while the horses play- truly beautiful. Dog friendly property- doesn’t appear to breed restrictions which is great!

Cons: if you aren’t custom to living by a train or off a main road the train or constant traffic may be a bother (don’t hear too much until the train honks or Semis go by but you get used to it), farmers cats- someone before mentioned lots of strays but I believe they’re farm cats, not strays. Still a con nonetheless, but at least they aren’t strays. Sometimes you smell horse poo, but horses poop too. Some of the parking is tight. I’m fortunate enough to not be in a difficult location but some spots may be harder to pull in to if you have...

Check in was easy, paid for prorated may from 27th to 31st. The park is clean, semi quiet minus traffic. Right next to horse pasture so there are flies. Several spots have female mulberry trees which spotted our 5th wheel and vehicles. On June 2nd I received an emailed receipt for rent....I did not know that 1 the 1st lady kept my card on file I didn't sign anything giving permission...2nd we were charged for a neighbors electric! High amount for only few days. I called while at work and asked why I wasn't notified what the total cost was and why did they pull it with out permission?? Pat was very nasty with me stating if I wanted the invoice foe the rent I have to leave work in the 1st to get it. And that it's in rules and regs that they keep card on file. It's not I looked. I canceled my debit card that day and called around for another park. Found one but couldnt get in till 24th of June. Fine. The GM came around and asked if we were going to pick the 1 pile of dog doo that had only sat 10 mins saying it's the reason we have flies. Umm the horses don't bring flies? Hello ranch raised here....duh.. After we moved I got a call from the Lovely pat you left the park?? Um yes. Ok well I have the remainibg... no no you dont. Barbara was informed we were leaving and she stated she would credit the electric to our final bill. And that Pat better ask her about that before telling me I had a final bill. She also wanted a new card on file I don't think so! The company has lawsuits against it, several people left due to being auto charged and double charged. Do not use...

Small, clean, new electric hookups. The place is in transition as it is renewed. Best feature is it's proximity to town.. everything downtown is walkable. Worst feature is that everything is tight. The roads are narrow, there are lots of trees, although they are kept well trimmed. If you have a rig longer than 35 ft, there may be some.challenges navigating the park. We did see some 45 ft units come through, but they took quite a while to get successfully parked. Also, in several spots the trees may make using slide outs difficult. Our location required is to locate very carefully to that we could connect to electric and get the slides out. If I had had curb side slides, they would have had no room at all as I was up within 6" of a tree on that side. There is a horse pasture immediately adjacent to the park. While pastoral, one does get the occasional aroma of horse manure. Didn't bother us, but might bother others.

We stayed 4 nights while looking at Wickenburg and hiking with our dog. Aztec Village was a good fit for us being walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. The price was high given the lack of common RV Park amenities. $50 per night. Also there is a daily per dog fee of $2. For the wider spots bordering the horse pasture its $55 per night right now. The walking path to downtown and nice winter residents to chat with are a plus. Staff are kind and accessible. The laundry is wireless and only had 1 working dryer out of 3 during our stay. Husband used showers and had hot water and clean bathrooms. This is a place in transition with a mix of families, residents and winter visitors. The location and value was right for us. We would stay again.

Not only did this place straight up a lie and it's advertisement to get you to go there only to find out it's a complete dump. I also had to fight with him for nearly 3 months to get my money back as they kept contesting it. This place is so bad that hobo is don't even like going there. The best thing you can do is drive right past this place it's place and flip the bird when you go by. The pictures that you will see on the website are not the real pictures this place is nothing but false advertisement and a craphole. It's been 3 weeks they still have not refunded me. Don't stay here whatever you do. Notice the insane amount of bird droppings! Notice the run down house with boarded up windows! Broken branches hanging in the tree that isn't maintained.
