Singers Ice Cream — Restaurant in Wildwood

I cannot even begin to say enough about this ice cream shop! My family and I were in town to visit from Texas, and after hearing so many wonderful things about “Singers”, I could not wait to see what all the fuss was about. First…, from the moment you walk through the door, the sweet aroma is SO heavenly I wished I could bottle it up and carry it home with me. Second…, the homemade ice cream was PHENOMENAL!!! No exaggeration, the BEST ICE CREAM my family and I have ever had “hands down”! We tried the “Salted Caramel” which tasted like a rich and creamy butterscotch. The “Moca Crunch” was sooooooo creamy & smooth, with the perfect amount of added “crunch”. For those with dairy intolerance, the “Mango & Pina Colada Sorbet” were both INCREDIBLE; separate and together they were by far the best sorbet I have ever had. You can taste the real mango, and the texture couldn’t not have been more spot on! This is NO exaggeration…, my favorite ice cream of all time is Blue Bell, in fact that is the only brand of ice cream I buy. However, if “Singers Ice Cream” was sold in stores, I wouldn’t buy any other brand EVER! There would be no need to. Whoever this recipe belongs to, they have struck gold. Now…., on to the atmosphere & entertainment. This was the most family friendly, organically produced joy and fun I have had in AGES! This place is family owned and operated, and the vibe that this family brings to the ice cream shop is unmatched, and now days practically unheard of. I celebrated my birthday at Singers on Friday, and the place was jam packed with happy kids, their families, and others. Two of the owners (Father & Son) sang a karaoke birthday dedication song to me from my husband, and the pair sound AMAZING together! In fact, they sang so well, that they inspired my mother to get on stage and join in, lol. Bruce and his family are so kind, so genuine, and delightful that my family and I have decided that EVERY TIME we are in town, “SINGERS Ice Cream” will be our new family tradition, as we will be going there for dessert and family fun EVERY SINGLE TRIP!!! Family owned and operated. The family who owns this place is very polite and kind natured. Very friendly people and you can tell they enjoy seeing people's reactions to their ice-cream. They have karaoke and sing often. Pretty good singers i might add. This place honestly has the best ice cream I have ever had. They are always trying new and unique flavors. They even have hand made waffle cones made in store. All their ice cream is made in store and with high quality ingredients. Their sorbets are also delicious and nearly as good as the ice cream is. The BEST ice cream I've ever had!...and I've had A LOT of ice cream. Unbelievablely smooth, delicious and reasonably priced. The flavors are second to none, with classics like to vanilla and strawberry to banana pudding, chocolate oreo cookie dough, and rotating others. My favorites - gooey butter (classic STL), cookie dough, and cookie butter (Biscoff). The waffle cone is a MUST. Family owned, they make the ice cream themselves and it shows - so smooth with an EXPLOSION of flavor. No toppings, because they are not needed or wanted! This is ice cream as it was meant to be!!!
