What distinguishes taking an item from a store without payment from taking money from a customer for a product that is never delivered? The business appears to be relying on stealing people’s money in small increments, hoping that it is not worth their time to request a refund. This situation resembles a potential class-action lawsuit filed with the FDA. I recently placed an online order for three sandwiches, two soups, and the tuna sandwich, only to discover that it contained no tuna. After speaking with the store, I was informed that the order should have originated from the location closer to my residence, but it was instead sent from the Wildwood location. I was subsequently required to contact them directly. Despite making ten phone calls, I was unable to reach anyone and was hung up on. Panera has been gradually reducing the protein content in each sandwich for several years, and it has now reached a point where there is no tuna or, if present, only a minuscule amount, approximately one teaspoon per sandwich. The manager abruptly ended the phone call before it could be fully completed. This incident clearly constitutes false advertising and a scam, as customers pay for a product that they do not receive. This is not an isolated incident; I have encountered similar problems with Panera on multiple occasions. I have attempted to resolve these issues annually, hoping that it would be a one-time occurrence, but the problem persists each time. If I were to lose consciousness due to low blood sugar while operating heavy equipment and subsequently cause a family to be involved in an accident due to my negligence, I could potentially file a lawsuit against Panera. How many instances have Panera put individuals in potentially dangerous situations by falsely advertising their products? I believe that the next logical step would be to contact the Better Business Bureau and the FDA to address...
Read moreMy family eat at this location frequently. Recently, we attempted to eat dinner there the evening of 1-15-17
They happened to be out of half of the items we attempted to order. Specifically, baguettes, bananas, cookies. After being discouraged by the lack of food available, we were delivered below room temperature mac and cheese. After returning it and requested It to be reheated, we were forgotten about while the staff fraternized around the food at the service window. This included the staffer wearing the red beats headphones. Not sure if that is appropriate but none the less the manager said they were short because of misguided ordering due to the storm.
I Informed him that all the items were available at dierbergs across the the street. He informed me it's against corporate policy to buy food from stores. That's unfortunate and probably short sighted. I expected him to comp our meal but he simply asked if he could "get me anything for the inconvenience."
I hope they realize how unprofessional the staff acted and the management takes note to make sure it doesn't happen...
Read moreI have ordered curbside from here a couple times and usually they bring it out to my car right when I get there. This time, I was sitting outside for twenty minutes after saying I was there, until I finally gave up and went inside. The lady at the front register directed me to the rapid pickup counter when I said how my order was supposed to be brought out to my car. I walked over and saw my order sitting there, my smoothie all melted. I said to the girl standing at the pickup counter how my order was supposed to be brought out. She ignored me and did not say a word. At that point, two other customers came in complaining of the same thing, only to find their food sitting on the counter getting cold. My order was barely warm and smoothie melted as I mentioned. I filled out the survey online requesting someone contact me as I had tipped online before hand and wanted my tip back since they did not bring the food out or be of ANY help. I was never contacted by anyone. I will not be eating from this...
