We recently moved to the area from a place with tons of amazing Indian restaurants, so our standards are pretty high. We’re passionate about our Indian food. Unfortunately, this spot really missed the mark for us. While the food was fresh, the flavors just didn’t deliver—especially for the price. $80 for a meal like this felt really disappointing. 😱
Chicken Biryani (1) – Ordered medium spicy but it was barely mild. Generous portion and lots of chicken, but it lacked that rich, signature biryani flavor. 6/10 😐
Samosa Chaat (1) – We asked for spicy, but it came out bland and flavorless. Barely touched it. 5/10 😬
Jeera Rice (1) – Nicely balanced flavor and solid portion size. One of the better items. 9/10👍🏽
Hot & Sour Soup (2) – Honestly, this was a disaster. It tasted like watered-down veggie soup with way too many carrots, which made it weirdly sweet. Definitely not hot, and the “sour” part was just missing. The photo we took says it all. 2/10🤮
Naan (4) – Good size and flavor. No complaints here. 7/10👍🏽
Tadka Daal (1) – Decent flavor, could’ve used more spice, but overall enjoyable. 8/10👍🏽
For what we paid, the experience was underwhelming. We’re totally fine spending money on good food, but this just didn’t come close. Needs serious improvement in both flavor and value.💔 Respectfully, unless you’re giving us a full refund please don’t bother with the common “we’re sorry response”. Thank you kindly for your time.

Read moreMy wife and I stopped by for lunch today. What a delightful surprise! While we intended to try their lunch buffet, it’s now only offered on weekends. So we ordered from the menu, we weren’t disappointed. We started by splitting an order of veg samosas. We each got one perfectly fried and very flavorful treat. The dough was crispy on the outside and tender inside. The potato and pea filling was ideal. It came with two sauces, one with a tamarind base and the other mint. We couldn’t decide which was better. Both worked really well with the samosa.
My wife had a saag paneer with chicken and I ordered the lamb rogan josh. The saag paneer was creamy and with a nice blend of spices. The chicken was tender and juicy. I asked tor my curry on the spicy side and it was expertly balanced. The lamb was fall apart tender. This was the best dish that we tried. There’s a large bar menu with an extensive list of draft beers. I had a choice of several IPAs to choose from. Our waiter was first rate. He was very attentive, bot not hovering. Friendly and knowledgeable, he couldn’t have done a better job.
Overall this is a gem. If you’re in oe near Wildwood, it’s definitely a place to try. We look forward to stopping by for dinner sometime and plan to stop by for the weekend...
Read moreA delightfully modest yet modern and stylish Indian restaurant! The best patio seating, and by far the best food ever made in this restaurant space. Awesome interior, as well, though the dining room is reverberant. Went here and got the METHI MALAI PANEER, which was great, and the BUTTER CHICKEN. The latter is a nice cinnamon-heavy spin on the not-so-classic dish which is as enjoyable as it is unique. Fair warning for those who do not like cinnamon to maybe stay away from this one. The MASALA CHAI tea was Outstanding, and overall everything was enjoyed except for the Papad Masala, which I did not like. It cost 3 dollars and was not good by the fundamental virtue of the dish being made of a grain which I do not like the taste of. In summary, TRY THIS PLACE OUT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, to support local business and also because it is good. It is not expensive. Even for those who don't like Indian food I would recommend this restaurant, as they, like, have...
