Email I sent to customer service at Wendy’s. No response yet.
Today I visited the Oxford fl location around noon. I witnessed the worst customer service I have ever seen. There is a sign in the door to use the kiosk only for food selection, which I did and worked fine for me. However several other patrons orders were not going through, and when asking for help the staff and the manager was beyond rude. Telling them it’s there problem and what they want them to do. After several people walked out the manager was cussing the guest talking trash about them and calling them degrading names. I couldn’t take it any longer I told the manager this was the worst service I have ever seen and was disgusted. Because I let her know how wrong she was I was told to leave the store. Apparently by having this employee Wendy’s is stating that is okay to cuss and degrade desk but apparently wrong to bring attention to this issue. Since I was told to leave I walked out and never received any food at all and lost 11.01 in what I paid. I request that this manager be dismissed and for me to be reached out to and let me know how this was handled. I have always preferred Wendy’s over any fast food restaurant but I will not support it ever again if this is not handled. This review will probably be a waste of my time, seeing as this establishment obviously doesn't care what their customers think; being it as they hire managers like this gentleman. I ordered one drink and that was it. It wasn’t like it was complicated and I upset this employee. Also, there was only one or two cars behind me so it was not as if they were super slammed that would warrant this employee behavior.
When I pulled up to the window, the employee opened the window and stuck his arm out waiting for my payment. He didn’t confirm the total, say hello or even look at me. He blankly stared at my hands with his hand impatiently waiting for my payment. I said hello to him and was ignored. He swiped my card and handed me my card without looking at me. I said thank you and was once again ignored. He then handed me my drink. I said thank you, have a great day and smiled at him. Again, I was just ignored and given a blank look.
I could expect this from a young person who hated their job or had a bad day at school before starting their shift. But, this was a manager. He was a middle aged black man with salt and pepper hair, wearing a...
Read moreI usually love this place and never have had a problem, until thos last time. I always order my burgers plain, highly allergic to mayonnaise and onions, and they usually get it right. This time it had everything. I didn't check it before driving off because drive thru got very busy after I ordered and didn't want to hold everyone up, besides they have never messed up my order. Got home and the burger had everything on it. I called to let someone know but got an answering machine, guess the manager was still too busy playing on his cellphone. I left a message with my name and number and no return call to apologize for the mess up. Needless to say, the burger was useless to me because of the mayonnaise. I could have pulled the onions off but the mayonnaise will still be in the bun even if I wiped it off. So threw the burger out and had a lg order of fries and lg coke for dinner.
