I got to my hotel late, and googled best subs near me.... as I normally do when I'm away from home. Nello's was highly recommended so I figured I'd give it a try. They were closing soon and could have been 50/50 that I would get to order from here. I tried anyways. The gentleman that answered the phone was super nice and acted like it was no big deal that they were closing. He said, give me 5 minutes and it'll be ready. What!?! That's awesome!

I ordered an Italian hoagie, and I have to say, it was one of the best I've had. Some places have great bread, or great lunch meat, or dressing. But Nellos had everything. I loved the bread, there was a perfect ratio of meat to veggies to bread, and the sub dressing was great. It was even lightly toasted, exactly how I like it. The hoagie by itself was 5 stars, the customer service was an additional 5 stars. My first ever 10...

Update... 2022 ... I used to love going here 💔, but the last few visits my pizza wasn't as great. I gave it a chance and kept going back. Well last night was the deal breaker for me. I ordered 6 slices to go. I wished I looked at it before I left 😔. One I wouldn't have ordered that old pie in the window! I would have preferred a fresh pie! I was charged more for 6 slices than a fresh medium pie. The guy that took my order could've been nice enough to offer to make a fresh pie instead of 6 old slices that tasted burnt and the crust was soggy. Last night's disappointment has made me decide not to go back. Used to be the best pizza ever. Now I give 1 star. Seriously heart...
