Abe's Hot Dogs — Restaurant in Wilkes-Barre

Everytime I walk by Abe's Hot Dogs I can't help but take a deep breath of that delightful aroma of food escaping as the doors open and close with customers. I've seen the business packed on many occasions and contemplated going in to try one of their popular chili dogs but was always a little too short on time to stop in, unfortunately. However, this week while out with my two sons we walked by Abe's and the mouthwatering aromas captivated us and before you know it we were sitting at a booth. The restaurant is clean and the walls tastefully decorated. The employees were all very inviting and attentive. You can tell that they love what they do, I felt right at home. Now for the good stuff!!! All together we ordered 4 Cheeseburgers w/Onions, Cheese & Ketchup, 2 Grilled Ham & Cheese on White bread and 2 Chili Dogs. The food was cooked to perfection! You could taste the LOVE IN the food! It was delicious, we even ordered extra to take home. I'm glad we finally stopped in and enjoyed Abe's, we recommend this business 100%. I wish them nothing but the best in their business, with their exceptional customer service and fresh delicious food I can see this place being a long time...

South Main Abe's, dubbed the one and only is a great little hot dog place that serves up a big taste. Today being the last Saturday of the year I had to come here. I got their cheeseburger with l,t,o which for a regular patty it had a good taste, the bun soft, fresh veggies. I had for the first time ever their relish dog, the relish had a sweet taste, and I had cheese on that one. Abe's Hot Dogs is a true American treasure! The atmosphere is exactly how it should be and the owner commands his place with humor and efficiency. He and his staff make you feel at home. The hot dogs, --oh.. the hot dogs.... They are spectacularly filled with beef and onions! They are a flavor you crave and dream about!
