Well ladies and gentlemen it is time for me to give my critical opinion on Crown Chicken on Main St. In Wilkes-Barre across the street from a Drug Store, I feel sorry for everybody that has actually gone there and thought that they actually enjoyed their food. I do believe that their taste buds have been shot out. I just ordered and had the displeasure of having mac and cheese that didn't taste like mac and cheese mashed potatoes with no flavor you can't even tell that they were mashed potatoes. I also received french fries that were cold no salt on them at all. I like a little bit, I don't know about everybody else. Do yourself and us all a favor Owner/Operator of Crown Chicken take a dirt nap. Put us all out of our misery by operating an inadequate restaurant with tasteless food. Super long wait and it was not worth it at all..I can't even eat it. Only one person was in back and one up front. Food felt rubbery and old. I got shrimp and fries, and then 4 other people order along with me from my party and all complained about the food. This is our first time coming to PA and so far it has been a disappointment food wise. Shrimp was extra small with a ton of breading. Drink probably would have been disgusting too if it wasn't a can of spite. Based on my experience they should be closed down or only allowed to sell can soda. THEIR CHICKEN IS FANTASTIC!!! ALWAYS FRESH WITH A BLEND OF HERBS AND SPICES THAT HAVE JUST A TINY TUCH OF A HEAT BUT NOT THAT THE KIDDY'S WONT EAT IT.I think Sanders would have paid good money for there recipe..its the only fried chicken I've had north of the Mason Dixon that I'd even call real fried chicken.
