Cook Out — Restaurant in Wilkesboro

Seems lately this Cookout is always out of something. This day they were out of Chocolate syrup, so any type of chocolate shake was off the menu! I went there for a chocolate shake. It would make sense to me that the manager would either go to Walmart or Lowes or Aldi or anywhere for that matter, and pick up a couple bottles of Hersheys chocolate syrup in order to keep up with the expected demand or output of a normal business day. Seems logical to me. Good business sense. May cost a couple extra dollars vs several customers and poor reviews that in this day and age of Social Media, can spread like wild fire. Also, it was said very rude. "We ain't got chocolate syrup so we ain't making any chocolate shakes today". The staff could of said I'm sorry, but we are temporarily out of chocolate syrup for chocolate based shakes. Our manager has gone to remedy this but in the meantime can I interest u in a mocha shake or hot fudge sundae...." (You get my drift... )Or " return in 30 minutes and we will have...

No stars. Came here with my family and was completely ignored. Went through drive thru, got no acknowledgement whatsoever. Tried getting someone's attention through the speaker since we had been sitting there for over 5 minutes. Went to the drive through window to order since no one had taken our order at the speaker. The boy was standing there taking someones order and never acknowledged us as we sat at the window for a good couple of minutes. I didn't catch his name but he was wearing glasses and it was around 1am. We were hungry and tired after having had our flight delayed 6 hours. It really upsets me to never have gotten any sort of acknowledgement and then after we drove off I looked back and he just stared at us as we drove off. Definitely not coming here ever again. They definitely need to hire new employees or retrain theirs. I will be telling all my friends about...

There was a hair in my child’s food after I spent $22.86 ans none will answer the phone says it’s not a working number it was a long blonde hair on her blt and I’ve not even ate mine don’t think I can or will now I will be coming back over there to have a talk with them about this that’s not good at all makes me sick even thinking about it guys you have long hair working at a fast food wear a hairnet please who knows how clean their hair was but I’m very disappointment here it was a place she wanted to go talked me into it for her birthday now don’t know if I can ever eat at ours again in wilkes accidents happen but come on it’s a fast food wear gloves and wash your hands and keep your hair off you and into us the customers food I need their number if anyone please can give it to me wilkes location please it made her sick no dinner for us tonight I want my money back...
