Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Wilkesboro

They took forever to get the food, and forgot to bring the drinks. When i was told that they would return with the drinks, they didnt return for about 20 minutes, and when i looked in my rearview mirror from one of the car stations, i saw several customers who showed up long after me get their food and leave. I eventually got fed up with it and actually walked into the cashier station, and was met with a comment from my waiter that they just assumed i had left, when i was only a look out the window away. They didnt even make the drinks until i actually watched them do it. And they still managed to screw it up, and all of my previous visits they screwed up my order, in which one case i returned because i had ordered another oreo blast, and they left out the oreos. Horrible service. And i had been patient and civil with them only to be met with sarcastic and rude remarks. My experience with them was and always has been horrible. No wonder all the other ones in town closed down. I understand that it does take a while to prepare the food, and sometimes they are busy, but this was at 9:00 at night with few people there. After multiple visits, i will never do business...

Christmas evening and all through the place cars were parked taking up space... food was moving but not very fast. Thankfully, we got a server that had us out in a flash! Amaya was her name and amazing service she provided... even with my picky family being so undecided. With our order placed, a long wait we feared! But miss Amaya soon was there, full of Christmas cheer! With a smile she greeted us the best server indeed, we were so happy to have miss Amaya on this rainy Christmas eve! No seriously give this girl a raise... she's young, working on christmas day and still greeted us with a genuine "Merry Christmas " after dealing with a packed house and our long and complicated order with a few " oh I'm sorry, can I change thats? " plus we had to order a shake while she was giving us our order and she ran right in no attitude and brought it out fast! This kind of service is so appreciated and we need more Amayas like the one working at Sonic on 421 in Wilkesboro, NC Merry Christmas!...

Big fan of Sonic’s food but the service tonight has put me way back on my opinion. Pulled in and my less-than-shady high school boyfriend walked in the door to order us some root beer floats. He came back a few seconds later and said that must not be the right door because the told him he couldn’t be back there. About half a dozen girls began running around inside, one of them coming out to lock her car right next to where I pulled on. She then walked over and I rolled my window down and she asked if we were kidnappers (because that’s what you ask a kidnapper, of course). I’m not saying I’m the brightest tool in the shed, but this was by far the most incompetent bunch of employees I’ve ever seen. Either these girls have a bit left in HS or they shouldn’t be working evenings if they can’t maturely handle real world possibilities without thinking those possibilities are right around the corner with some high schoolers...
