Hardee’s — Restaurant in Williamsburg

If I could give this location less than 1 star, I definitely would! I recently spent almost 30 minutes in their drive thru from the time I pulled to the speaker to order, to the time I got my food and pulled out. There was one vehicle in front of me that also sat at the window waiting an ungodly amount of time. I paid in cash the exact amount for our 2 Midnight Moonshine Burger combos and was not given a receipt. Once I paid, I waited and waited and then a different person came to the window to ask if I had paid yet, and asked if I had gotten my drinks yet (which I hadn't). He then confirmed that I ordered the Midnight Moonshine Burgers. I continued to wait and wait and wait.. Finally got my order and headed home. Once I got home my husband and I realized that we had gotten a regular typed Thickburger. I was livid simply because I had waited so long, and had someone "confirm" my order so I took it every bit back to the restaurant. Once I got there I tried to remain calm and not be rude to the one young girl there. There wasn't another person in sight, worker or diner. I told her the situation and she offered my money back. I told her the burgers look like they'd be pretty good and we just wanted the correct thing. She fixed them and I went back home to my husband. The Midnight Moonshine Burger is by far the nastiest burger we've EVER eaten. The sauce had a really good taste but it made the bun a wet soggy mess. The tomato and lettuce were literally like slime, and the bacon tasted like cardboard. We absolutely will not be returning to this location, almost an hour of wait time total and...

Literally just left, haven't left the parking lot and had to leave a review! Dustin is absolutely amazing and has excellent customer service!! My husband and I are visiting from Cincinnati; we visited yesterday and today and had the best service each day!! Dustin greeted us instantly, with a smile on his face and was super kind!! He even brought our meals out with a smile 😃 thank you Dustin for the great service while we visited!! I watched him interact with other guests and it was the same. Even when a customer had the wrong order, he was patient and kind!!

Also, kudos to the whole team, my husband and I noticed ya'll worked really well together and that's rare these days!! We will definitely return on future trips!! Thanks again for excellent hospitality!!

Beloved founder Wilber Hardee (in addition to the current District Manager Betty Brock) would be proud to know that the entire staff not only serves the best biscuits worldwide but also provided an over-the-top-best exceptional act of kindness SERVICE on July 8th when they broke rank & delivered a bag of Steak Biscuits+ to my friend who was recovering from a hospital surgical procedure & who was totally housebound, sooo hungry & yearned ONLY for his favorite ~ a Hardee's Country Fried Steak Biscuit!!!
