Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Williamsburg

I have been to this restaurant several different times and had a few different experiences. Generally, the restaurant interior is clean, although a few times the tables have not been wiped down from the previous guests. My order has been accurate every time and fulfilled to standard. The customer service is not particularly friendly, however, it hasn't been unpleasant.

My one wish would be for smaller sizes in some of their options, because I don't want the large portion sizes. For me, dairy Queen is a treat, but even the small size is far too large. I would actually go more often if they had smaller sizes. But I suppose it is what it is.

The employees were outstanding and the food was good, but the thought of those poor employees working in a subpar environment was pitiful. The low temp for the morning was in the 20s and when we walked in the establishment for breakfast you could see your breath inside the restaurant. We asked if they could turn the heat up and they told us that they didn't have any control over the temperature of the heating or air conditioning. I'll bet the owner was all toasty at home though. Pathetic! That place should be shut down if that's the way you treat your employees! I can't believe they were even there. Absolutely disappointing experience. Went through the drive thru and by the time the vehicle in front of us finally got their order, our ice cream was melted and runny. We gave it back to the kid in the window and he handed us back the same runny items. I have always enjoyed Dairy Queen and was less than impressed with the quality and service at this location and will not use or recommend them again. I know it might seem petty. But it gets old these places acting like it’s my privilege to spend my hard earned money with them.
