KFC — Restaurant in Williamsburg

Now, FIRSTLY, I have absolutely nothing against KFC. I'm a Midwest guy and those Original herbs and spices have been a staple for me when it comes to chicken outside of home fried chicken. I have always pondered in my travels if KFC was prime delicious in Kentucky (of all places) verses everywhere else. This would be my 3rd time testing the theory, and for the 3rd time KFC is NOT tasty at all in Kentucky. Certainly, ole Sanders is turning in his grave about not maintaining regional taste quality in the founding state of KFC. Why does it always taste like it the Original chicken has been twiced-baked in a convection oven, and as if 3 or 4 spices are missing?!? Lol, the last time I purchased what I thought was supposed to be 2 breasts and a wing combo and hit the road only to discover I had only 1 what looked a Quail breast and the wing of an unborn chicken. Was the meal intended for a smurf? Lol, I can't with Kentucky. I'm eating way better KFC in Florida. 1 star for the brand and the other is for Colonel "Harland David" Sanders, rest in peace, but please release an upset ghost or two in KY to reclaim your...

We had forty minutes before my wife had to be at work. We paid for 3 combos and waited 30 minutes for our food. By this time my wife had to skip her meal. They kept passing out food to the drive thru. But our money at the counter that you already have. It's not as green as the drive thru money I guess. Then this moron brings up (3 )16 piece buckets that nobody ordered. And instead of making our food. He puts each piece of chicken back in the cabinet just to look up and see that he needed 3 buckets of chicken. And here comes the chicken back out into buckets. What a joke. Even the two older ladies in front on me waiting said they guess they should have went through the drive thru. My total was like $29.10. I gave the girl $30.00 and then I gave her a dime. The dude that could not seem to bucket chicken up right had to come and tell the girl that she owed me a dollar because me giving her the dime screwed up her math skills all up. She couldn't figure out that $0.90+...

Well, we almost didn't come to this KFC because of the negative reviews but we decided to give it a try. The young man at the front register was very friendly and helpful. I ordered two combo meals to go, one with mashed potatoes & gravy, the other with mashed potatoes & gravy and Cole slaw. The food was hot & fresh however, the chicken breasts were placed on the bottom directly on the box so the moisture from the chicken soaked through the box bottoms and the boxes didn't seem to be properly folded so when we removed the boxes from the bag, the chicken fell through the bottom of the boxes. Also, the biscuit in both boxes was placed at the bottom by the breast so the biscuits got wet and soggy. Also, there was only one "spork" in the bag (there were no utensils at the condiment table) so we had one spork for two meals. Not a big deal but it's the difference between 4 stars and 5 stars because the food & friendliness...
